This was a couple that was portrayed as creepy in the beginning, then evolved into one of the most ideal perfect chemistry type of couples of all time. That's the beauty of character development. I mean, they could've went this route with Seddie, and the Seddie Arc would've been much, much better, but nope. The writers tried to hammer in that they didn't ship Seddie, and we're quite honestly disrespectful towards the Seddie Shippers.

Creddie developed and grew progressively and you could see Freddie's feelings for her prove to be genuine and real love especially with how selfless he was not to take advantage of her in case she was confused about her feelings for him after the taco truck incident. And Carly gradually softened up and valued him so much more, while saliently falling for him and his progressively found self-confidence over the years. They always had chemistry and most especially, compatibility.❤️
Freddie is a little creepy in the beginning. He tells Carly he was gonna walk her home but couldn’t find her, he looks out his peephole waiting for her to come home, there was even an episode where he even says “I am going to be Carly’s 2nd husband” and Carly says “what happened to my first husband?” And Freddie says “nothing you can prove”
I remember seeing the scene at 4:14 on TV as a kid and I didn't really know what to make of that. I just thought that you know she saw them dancing and decided to leave to give them some alone time. I didn't even think it was jealousy until years later
