I honestly believe that there's certain things in life where you should always buy the best and comfiest no matter the cost, (and maybe figure how to pay later lol), and footwear is one. This is borne by my lifelong hassle getting them to fit my deep and extra wide feet. A good pair can last decades, and the measure is that you don't even notice when wearing them, wheras ones that aint quite right give you a constant reminder. I have had a pair of altberg walking boots for 8 years, still good as new, & after trying on dozens of pairs of motorbiking boots at places like SBS, paid another visit to Richmond for a fitting & bought a pair of altberg Hogg motorbiking boots. At £330 for the special XW size and a 16 week wait, it's a fair chunk of time and money and a bit of an intake of breath, but i doubt i'll ever need to buy another pair, so well worth it. I didn't try on the oxfords, but they look good quality, so hope you get good long service out of 'em. Cheers

Cheers for the comment, have to agree with you. Nothing quite like a good comfy pair of boots 😁
