I got the Pure Sky purple limited edition a couple months ago. I don’t have much to compare to but it definitely sounds great! Really helps my cheap amp.
Nice video; I’m always looking for new pedals to try out on synth; I got the pure sky and it sounds great with synth and wanted to see what other stuff Calines got
Had both and kept the pure sky, fantastic pedal. I'd describe it as a "fenderish sound" but you can dime it all and get a fuzz tone, back off the treble and bass and get a klon tone, edge of breakup and medium overdrive. Can get it to sound like my BD2 and sold my Catalinbread Formula 55 coz it did "tweed" better. Dial back the guitar volume and cleans up really nice while not getting muddy. Thanks for the vid :)

I'm gonna take a closer look at that circuit, Xotic's BB Preamp... I heard someone say it was originally based on a "HotRodded" TubeScreamer circuit, lol... Obviously it has a TON more gain, and that BASS knob sure comes in handy!
Ain't a bad idea! They're BOTH great! The Orange Burst is based on Xotic's BB Preamp and people say that it's like a TubeScreamer on steroids, lol... I love how full the bottom end is on it...

I actually got a Tumnus Deluxe in today, and normally "The Budget King" would NEVER spend that much money on a pedal, but hey, it's the ONLY Klon Klone that I've EVER liked, lol... It's actually got an ACTIVE "BASS" and "MIDS" control, and with the gain CRANKED it sounds GREAT!
Oh, and THANK YOU! For becoming one of my "loyal subjects" (get it, lol?)! I'd love to see a picture of that Anniversary Pure Sky when it gets in! I LOVE me some Caline!
@@ck2music712 🤪 Alice Cooper said we're all clones, right?! I've gone over budget too with Jeff Loomis Devil's Triad, Maxon SD 9, JHS PackRat and Electro-Harmonix Mel-9... Caline Stack Attack was a little pricier than other CP's, not to mention my Line 6 PodGo! Mooer Micro Amp pedals are the bomb too, and I've grabbed other stompers through the years for my crazy Wall Of Sound stereo rig!!
@@markchristopher420 Didn't know they made purple ones. Actually saw a couple new for sale online. Think I still prefer the blue :). Kinda pedal that I thought of buying a couple for the board coz they are so versatile.

I have the Joyo version of the Orange Burst, the Zip Amp. It has a compression switch option! The Pure Sky is permanently on my board.

I have both. Sometimes I check them. I like that blue sky paint, but the "orange" sound always wins. I can't explain why...
I run the blue sky on a Princeton clone and it gets me there...for the price I might just get the orange
