I am quite surprised by the Belzer rebbe's very cold reaction to Rav Ovadia Yosef. In viewing this clip, I felt sorry for Rav Ovadia who probably felt so uncomfortable being ignored in that way. The Belzer rebbe had to be coaxed quite a lot to acknowledge the Rav's presence at all. Although he did so by having the music changed it just didn't seem enough to me. Shame.
If the Rebbe didn't want him there, he wouldn't be there and they wouldn't be singing those songs I don't recognize the second song but the first is only soung when a great Torah leader enters, and it taken from psalm 24,verse7.
It seems from the buzzing among the gabbaim that there simply was a confusion about how to show a Sephardic Rav proper kavod. Watch again and you might see that several actions were initiated by the Chassidim and the Rav's gabbaim stopped them. (That's what I see.)
Very nice

Rav Ovadia Yosef died only 5 months later...
