This is one of the few stages where the difference between having just a E1 lvl 60 Cuora instead of a E2 lvl 25 makes you lose instead of win.
I'm 3 years late but I did it with E1.60 Cuora by changing the placement order Cuora -> Courier -> Ptilopsis -> May (so the healer is down sooner). It was SUPER close on the red lizardmen but she lived. Ptilopsis skill is level 7, Cuora's is 4.

I failed several times because my Gravel pushed the dangerous enemy into SA's space. I think it is much safer to deploy Gravel one tile lower. Alternatively you can deploy Gravel earlier so that the enemy isn't pushed at all.
That strategy was perfect! :)

I must have messed up at some point because my first defender got killed during the run, and after that it took everything I had in me not to panic and try to adjust my strategy and try to make it look as close as yours as possible and it worked !! So once again, even when I’m messing up, you’re still saving my ass 😆 thanks Kyo ! This run was epic ! 💛
Platinum can hit the 3 on the top right for a little extra DPS once her skill starts
Thanks for the guide, I spent all 30 practice Ticket and couldn't figure it out. Should have known I could tank the top left with a Cuora before an archer...

I replaced Kroos with Platinum. Once her skill 2 activates, the lizardmen at the lower left gets damage from her and silverash due to extra range.
Based on ur guide, i used beagle in place of cuora > myrtle > nightingale > lapp (in mousse’s place) > changed beagle to saria. It was tough since it needs right timing but I made it at last. Thanks so much TwT
one of the harder cms, good thing we dont meet those red lizard mans later on (inb4 H stages have a bunch of them)
Thankyou!. I dont know that beagle can tank that spearman. My cuora is not strong enough and still at e1. So i use matterhorn as a backup. For caster, i use haze skill 2.

I didn't have SA and ran out of support, so I instead borrowed Hoshiguna E2/L40 for Cuora and used Manticore in place of SA, to clear out the remaining throwers from the right, I used Ch'en S2M3 (Also the Arts Guard) by luring them (sacrificing my Nightingale and Cuora in place of Beagle) and using Shining to support Hoshi.
This way, I instead used Gravel to lure their shots during final redeploy instead of stalling the Enraged Possessed Leaders.
Had the same results, thankfully this placement aided me.
liskarm in place of cuora with irene in place of arts guard and gg as the caster made this stage so easy. glad i finally e2'd liskarm. she has higher def than i thought she'd have
Finally i manage to do this, i have tried this stage so many times and always failed, so much sanity wasted, the problem is because i use lappland instead of arts guard with high def, my lappland is still at E1 Lv 65 and don't have enough defense, because of that i decided to level up my arts guard and finally i can beat this stage, i always lazy to upgrade my arts guard until now i realized xD. Thanks bro😤
bring W for those last guys if you have her. means you dont have to re-work your setup on the fly. maybe also ambrial second skill or Rosa can do the job.

Be careful when blocking the enraged thrower with Gravel to buy time for true silver slash. If you mess up the lizardman will be pushed into silverashes spot and kill him.
Skadi alter with skill 2 on that lower tile and a suped up Hoshi with skill 2 on the melee tile below the upper blue box will do the trick. Bring someone to kill the enraged buttheads in the bottom left and you're actually golden.
Wait... I just thinking
If i use hoshi s2 on cuora's position i can just switch kroos and perfumer position so kroos will shoot the right lizard man while the left one will taking damage right?

replace beagle for hoshi and then use an AoE healing. Afterwards it should be easy going
If your hoshi is still pot 0, you can't. If pot 6, maybe. Because her deployment point is 23. So you need to wait first javelin thrower die before place your sniper
You can use hoshi on beagle's place (maybe)
@@925agaterizky6 you can use Hoshi on beagle's place. Tho she is E2 (+skill 2) but the pot is just 1 or 2 (tried to get Blaze but nope)
But with cuora's place I dunno I will try
Edit: ok so uhh I tried it but because she has more dp the lizard men will be in a position were it'll get the sniper/healer. (I changed the position of The sniper and the healer) so because of that, it failed :l
@@MickeyMouseFromTroomTroom yeah, because the situation is the Angery Javelin Thrower and Angery Swordman will not lose hp over time. You need Cuora/Matterhorn as first defender and a sniperso you can kill Angery Javelin thrower on the right top lane. The most right defender I personally recommend Liskarm than Hoshi for more sp charge
I tried to mix this strat with the ch'en + liskarm strat but neither of them were high level enough. Too bad x')
Question, can I use penance in this? I just got her. and what level and skill should I use? I think s3?
Gladiia S2 is nice to kill the right spearmen, and SilverAsh MVP as usual.
If some one do this nowdays:
If you will to use Kroos alter: Dont do it. (Kroos alter stuns the Enraged Possessed Bonethrower and allow them to move a bit reaching kroos range and killing her on the act)
Hoshiguma with S2 instead of Beagle would help to kill the right side Enraged Possessed Bonethrower faster.
Instead of second ST Sniper take Goldenglow S3 (Instead of Caster Amiya) or Shirayuki S2 after kill left side, both can reach right mobs and kill them w/o wait for SA
Passenger S3 is a good alternative for SA since he can slow enough to kill mobs before they even toush Cuora ussing his Skill.
If already got Guard Amiya, use her: She also buff damage/defense from other operators so is a really good option.
If you are Lee Simp like me, you can use Lee to kill left mobs. (Spam S2M3 or AFK S3M3 looking at opposite side for abuse his talent.)
that remember me when i cannot block the lizarmen with my defenders and change for FEater, Its trolling time, NO DAMAGE with S1

I tried using ifrit on amiya's position and the lizardman somehow end up entering silverash's tile and killed him lmao

Alright fast forward a little, assemble a team similar to the one in the video,
And it’s terrifying to think how easy it is now that I’ve beaten it,
*I’m not lying I legit cleared it first try*
So my team was Ptilopsis, Silence, Myrtle, Siege, Lappland, Borrowed Silverash (cuz mine not s3m3), Saria, Cuora, Exusiai, Schwarz, Projekt Red, Gravel, Eyjafjalla.
If you have hoshiguma replace beagle with hoshiguma so she can kill those enraged but use her skill 2
this was somewhat of a mess, replace Jessica with shirayuki and it should work fine.
I actually used Shirayuki pointing Left with perfumer in the right slot. but I was using slightly more expensive units and couldn't manage to get it out in time otherwise, (Pot 1 E2 Saria) well I could get out in time, but not reliably. so I just used Shirayuki, and then swapped later on with a regular sniper pointing east. I used metoer. was hoping an E1 Hoshiguma's thorns would kill the enemies but it didn't seem to hurt the ones on the right.

You can just use platinum as a substitute for Jessica
Or just use e2 meteorite. They have the same range.
Cefri Naldi yeah Meteorite is also useful with Exu in Frostnova fight CM
I don't know why but the bonethrowers (spearmen) keep focusing on my newly deployed sniper instead of my defender?
That's normal. Enemies will target operators that are deployed last. Notice how kyo retreated beagle, deployed SA, then deployed cuora again. Else SA will be targeted and die instantly like the redeployed Kroos.
you have to deploy your sniper on that position before the bonethrower is too close to your sniper. otherwise he will focus your sniper instead your tank

Which level is your Liskarn, E1, E2? Are you using her fast, defensive skill (skill 1)? Have you raised her skill level to 7? If you do, I think she can manage. Otherwise, having another tank to swap in is a good idea :)
I had Hoshiguma to the left and used Cuora on the right. Granted, she's E2 but I didn't even need to activate her shield, as long as Perfumer healed her, she was at 98-100% health all the time.
I know je intentionally killed Kroos, I know he did...

Kinda late but, it might work. I finished this stage when my only E2 is blaze ( i put her in Mousse position) though it might be partly thanks to Liskarm (put her in cuora position) and the healer position in ST caster, so i can kill both the upper spearman at once.

IDK, but Sniper at this point goin in focus and very fast die.
it's the range. you have to deploy your sniper on that position before the bonethrower is too close to your sniper

With the removal of Cuora from the shop, a lot of budget strategies seem pretty hard because no budget tank really compares to Cuora. I personally just used Hoshi S2 to handle all the throwers and an E1-Max Cuora + ground based dps to handle the angry claw enemies. Cuora' defense stat and skill 2 is just ridiculous.
So would newer player be recommended to borrow a Hoshiguma/Liskarm to handle the left side and rely on their own dps units to kill the angry claw enemies? I don't think Beagle would be defensive enough to tank the angry claw enemies
Also, do you think you will ever make No-Cuora guides due to the decreased access to her? (After 3 months of playing and rolling hard on Blaze, I only headhunted/recruited one copy of Cuora.)

I don't have her myself but judging from her stats, I really don't think so. She does physical damage while Amiya is arts damage. Do you have another nice arts damage dealer? I've got Eyjafjalla and used her volcano skill for when the flood came

So did anyone else notice that Kyo traded his Silverash for a higher level one with mastery three on its third skill.
Bruh even i had a whole lot of E2s this CM is hard than the whole chapter itself..that enraged leader litterally 4 hits my Hoshi E2 S2 lvl7 even with a healer and a Saria E2 S2 M2.. Thats why big thanks to Kyo bringing new strat... thank god i can now pull out my ifrit on this one it almost became a joke... Thanks Kyo(im such an Embarrasment to all Dolphins)
Hoshi S3 is better for this stage.

Can I use an E1 Max Cuora here?
I was able to use this strategy with an E1 Max Cuora on the left defender spot, but I had a much better sniper than Kroos to kill the ranged enemies faster.
haey haey ho i think you should know: Even Hoshi E1 lv80 couldn’t survive against the last wave. Curo E2 has more Defensive point in passive.
I have wasted HOURS on this level. I hate it so much. I've tried everything. :( I've used this guide and Echo's guide. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it never works. ULLLG
Is there time to use myrtle?
There is, I use myrtle then Hoshi, but sniper has to deployed one tile on the right.... Then retreat after lizardman die..... Change to healer.... Redeploy sniper later
Quick tip: Always slap in myrtle first. Since she is only 8-10 dp and she produces 14 dp.
Yea cuz i was scared that i couldn't get a sniper, medic, and defender in time lol
Can I use Liskarm instead of Cuora?
Probably yes , but it's RNG time. if ur Liskarm can't activate skill when that "Dangerous Lizardmen" came , u're doomed. Still better using a Defender that has Def Up Skill *Manual*

I've tried it with my E1Lv62 S1Rank7 Liskarm, and she died before I could deploy my vanguard
only if she is E2 high level, the one that hit hard are those melee enraged that spawn near the end, only Cuora and Hoshi who can tank em for some hits without the need to be maxed level.
You can do cheese strat using liks and chen
