@@Krash_fpv It is just a bit different for each transmitter type, so I recommend searching for "crow braking" or "butterfly braking" on youtube or the internet in general you should be able to find the steps required. For this to work you will need each aileron to have a dedicated channel. And if you want the flaps to support the ailerons when flaps are deployed you also need two channels for either flap. This means : - Thro, Ele, Rud, Flap, Ail1, Ail2 (for the "crow" mod) - Thro, Ele, Rud, Flap1, Flap2, Ail1, Ail2 (if you want all options) In short, your goal is to give the ailerons and flaps a positive or negative (depends on the model and if the ailerons are positive the flaps need a negative offset and vice versa) offset when you activate the crow braking. The direction can be tested and adjusted during configuration. For flaperon control besides the ailerons when flaps are activated you wil need to set up 2 mixers that are set to activate with the flap switch and use the aileron on the same side of the plane as mixer input.
I would be interesting to see the different mixes of your flaps and aileron in close up and talking abit about them. I have a STOL E-flite Maul flying around since some time back and would love to upgrade my mixing game abit

How come you only have 27K sub???? Martin in my opinion you should have 27M !!! you are by far the best pilot ive seen, and i started flying back in 1985! I wiil def share your vid to many others...keep it up bro ur amazing! Shalom from israel 👌👌👌👌👌
I saw more 3Ding than stol. But it flew and handled it well. Got to love the wood construction. Those are the noisiest wheels i ever herd. They need big balloon tires with air in them and C/F gear legs.

Great OMP Hobby STOL plane. I got one myself since a year and I am having great fun with it. Now try the new OMP Hobby 74“ Edge 540 Kevlar reinforced. I expect mine to come shortly.
Are you crazy? Well looks like you know what you are doing! I just was thinking that’s a nice beginner model and then your doing aerobatics.- - Can this model be flown “ normal “? By a beginner or intermediate Pilot? Thanks- your a great pilot!

I came here to see a STOL aircraft do STOL things. Instead we get this guy trying to show off his best aerobatic skills instead of just serving the plane. He clearly misunderstood the assignment.
observations. nice model, but, NOT a flawless one. at :55, visual evidence suggests that the manufacturer reproduced the semi-symmetrical wing profile, of the reference design. if the whole wing is that way, the wing of this model has a LESS-than ideal profile.! but, hey, no one cares about THAT, right.? that profile actually Raises the stall speed (of a tiny wing). at 2:00, the first thing to do is, MOVE the Mass of the servos to near the cg.! at 2:45, poor tail wheel arm/strut design. at 3:07, the Mass of the wing servos is poorly located; it should Not be aft of the cg line.! these kinds of location of mass design Errors, AFFECT the (overall) distribution of mass (dom), of a vehicle/aircraft. at 5:15, prop is noisy; or the nose is. if extra vibration is associated with the excess noise, servos may GLITCH, sometime. in the middle of a flight. IF the servos were installed with grommets, then, no problem. googletranslate
@@bandyladd5138 Thanks for pointing that out in the video. He is using weights in the back. The real question is how far back from the leading edge of the wing is his CG. I have my battery back pretty far now and like the way it fly's but I could not get it to hover. So maybe moving the CG back even more will improve the ability to hover better. I don't want to add weight to the tail and loose any of the good flying characteristics that it has now though.
This is a nice plane. Martin, can you show us how to program the aileron/ flap mixes that you show at the start of the flight?
Please martin show us this radio set up

How did u do your mixing with the flaps and the ailerons would loved to get an idea how to set that up on mine

YES! your cool👍 🇺🇸

What is the motor thrust of this model?
Honestly, no idea. It comes pre-mounted and seemed fine from the start

OMP Hobby Bighorn
Nice to see someone with a few quid flying normal club level aircraft. Tbobborap and Bravo303 could learn a lot.
Lol absolutely, can have great fun with anything with wings!
Esperaré a que salga el vídeo en español porque no me entero nada , por lo que se ve el aeromodelo está chulo

Servo mass in a wing on this style of aircraft is far from important, on a performance aerobatic model sure… but here, correct CG is sufficient…
