Some small updates about the bard(s):
0:45 there are two 7th anniversary colorways, one is only wire-less and the other has a wired only option, which is cheaper
4:26 the Santorini now also has the yellow magnetic switch option
Forgot to mention, this keyboard does have kick up feet, two extra elevation levels.
Updated software allows multiple keys to be selected

You forgot to mention that the mod007b he is also compatible with 3-pin mechanical switches, not just magnetic ones
True, it has 2-pin mechanism with sourh facing leds. I forgot to add it, because I see no particular reason to switch from the hall effect that are included to regular cherry switches. But thanks for reminding :)
@@b1rch I guess it would be useful for finger control maps to prevent accidental inputs, or if you happen to be a keyboard snob and want to try other non-magnetic switches 👍

Can actuation still be customized with different switches?
Hi, I have a little problem with this keyboard. The LED keyboard under the space bar to indicate the battery level of the keyboard, and I can’t turn it off. I find that very ugly. I tried as written in the FN + space manual, but nothing to do. Can you help me?

Hello, I experienced the same problem when I got my keyboard. Here are some things you can try, which I think helped me:
1) Take off “capslock” key and put the smaller switch next to the key switch in the middle, this will turn off wireless mode.
2) Press fn + “y” or “u” key (i forgot which one is it). This will make so that the keyboard is in wired mode and will not be on if it’s unplugged.
If it still doesn’t work, feel free to reply again, I’ll try and keep updating you

I got the aluminum version w/o keycaps for only $95 + $15 keycaps. Definitely a bang for the buck wireless magnetic keyboard!

Legit got the tokyo mod of this and its so good i looked at this one but I went the theme does not work
The tokyo theme one is amazing as well, I like the keycaps on it more, but the colors do not match with my blue setup, so I went with the Santorini
I thought the stock wooting sounded good but this is wayyyyy better
Yeah same, when I got the wooting I was really blown away because I never had had a good keyboard, but this one surprised me even more

@@b1rch yeah, it's nice to see already established companies in the keyboard space catching onto the hall effect keyboards trend, really excited to see board like the MonsGeek M1W HE and the QK65v2 HE come to the market

Ive got the year of the dragon edition, which I believe is the same or very similar.
Few issues:
1. quality control, some RGB LEDs came dead out of the box. Not great for a £150 keyboard.
although in all fairness on request they sent me a new PCB out free of charge, so cant complain too much!
2. the USB-C is very flakey, if you move it at all whilst in use it disconnects the keyboard, however due to the weight of the keyboard
you dont move it really at all in use so it doesn't disconnect too bad, but if you slide your keyboard it will drop.
otherwise its great, best keyboard I've used really. The year of the dragon comes with an extra backplate. It looks much cooler with the gold, but doesnt sound as good as the black plastic one its fitted with. Im running the gold, but fyi if you plan to change this, the plastic one that comes fitted by default is "better" other than aesthetics
Interesting, but I think, with the two problems listed, you just got an unlucky unit(s)
wouldve preferred to know if the switches and pcb was compatible with lekkers and the new hyped raptor switches (also same for drunkdeer switches)
I am very certain they should be, as the switch itself doesn’t have anything that particularly makes it compatable or not. I will try it later today, so I’ll give an update :)

@@LazyBones1008 Unfortunately, neither the wootings nor raptor switches can be used on the board. However, if there are 3rd party hall effect switches that don't have like the two small stems on the bottom, I believe they should work with the akko board

i was about to get the akko but monsgeek has the same board in aluminium and its 8k hope i made the right decision
