Damien Rice’s O album released in 2002 is incredible, The Blowers Daughter is the most popular, I personally love Cold Water and Amie. I would suggest you experience these songs and hopefully share that reaction with us. The music is tender, expressive and emotional. Thanks for another beautiful reaction.
Red you are the wonderful one💯💯Again you don't just hear a song you listen with your heart and soul❤❤sent a request and donation ❣❣#redheadedneighbor #bestreactor #redsarmy #beautifulfuncountrygirl #heartofgoldwithmetalinhersoul #bestbadjokes #36K
generational talent among the singer-songwriters of the last 20 years. probably one of the best ever. Damien Rice combines undoubted singing and compositional qualities with a disarming simplicity and honesty. in my opinion he is number one when it comes to listening to songs capable of moving something deep inside. it seems to me that in the video you asked yourself if this interpretation of delicate was a standard for him... well, it is. every song in Damien Rice's discography deserves to be listened to and understood also from a lyrical point of view. please, if you like, make more video reactions on him: RUclips needs them. ☺️
Damien Rice is SO GOOD. I'm happy to see him finally being reacted to! The Blowers Daughter and The Professor are my favorites. Cannonball is great. Coconut Skins is fun. Rootless Tree is another great one. There a great live version of I Remember available too. And 9 Crimes as well.
Damien Rice is a legendary artist in my view and probably favorite. His songwriting is just so emotional, like it is all laid bare. Him along with Lisa Hannigan are iconic to me which was the other vocalist. This was around the time the other Irish pillar of Glen Hansard came along as well with a similar counterpart of Marketa Irglova. These four filled a very specific niche of music that stand on their own level in the music scene.
Some of his songs are just heartbreaking, so be aware. Lisa Hannigan is on most of his early songs, but she has her own solo career now. Her song "Undertow" ft. Loah will blow you away.
Lisa and Damien had a relationship (both personal and professional), but it went sour (mostly Damien's fault, I believe - though I only know the bare bones of the story).... it provided material for some amazing songs. The whole album 'O' is great. The follow-up '9' is also very good. The third album is a little more patchy but still very good. If you're looking for more Damien Rice to react to, then try Damien Rice with Cantus Domini - It Takes A Lot To Know A Man. I've never seen anyone react to it, but I suspect you'll absolutely love it (and I've been right with previous suggestions 😉). Talking of previous suggestions....any plans for more Electric Callboy or BAND-MAID?
He is an amazing artist, the lady doing backing vocals is Lisa Hannigan, well worth checking out her solo stuff as well
Also highly recommend giving Lisa Hannigan a listen to.

Yes, all of them!
Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan combo can hold their water against any duo of any era!
So raw, so authentic, so emotional!

“The look on your face, it’s delicate.” I love him.
That was really good. I've never heard of him before. Nicely arranged too.

Incredible vulnerability - most lads, can’t express themselves like that. Raw, real, relatable ❤ and your reaction was moving.
O is an amazing album.
I've always enjoyed Damien Rice and Lisa Hannigan. Been listening to them since early 2000s
I love Damien. It’s such a shame he releases so infrequently. The Animals Were Gone is such a beautiful and haunting song.
damn, I'm loving these blasts from the past reactions lately
That was a pleasant surprise! ❤
G'day Red it is Friday morning early here in Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 thanks sunshine for my day wooww ❤❤❤❤❤

This song is from a beautiful album. Not terribly uplifting though. Best to listen to when you want a good cry.
Please do yourself a big favor and listen to his stuff with the close harmony singers...truely amazing
