Lisa Hannigan has one of the most captivating voices ever. Everything she does is perfect.
THIS. This is Damien Rice in all his glory. ❤ I have been listening to this man for 20 years now, there is no one like him. This is one of my fav songs by him. Damien & Lisa Hannigan were singing together until 2007 when Lisa went solo.
I swear, Damien does not have a single song that doesn't just punch you in the heart & leaves you speechless. The emotion in his voice & the way he plays piano & his guitar is out of this world. He does not make music, he IS music.
& as for Lisa, she is a magical fairy.
Before Aurora there was Lisa. That is all I will say on the matter. Just listen to "We, the Drowned" or "Fall" by miss Lisa, it takes your soul some place else. 💖

Ooooh..Lisa´s intro...already blown away by her voice. Only the Irish have this magic.
Listening to Lisa sing her verse in cold water was the first time I was ever moved to tears by a performance.
I can remember watching this session on the night. Just happened to turn over to BBC2 and was blown off my feet. Immediately went out and bought the album the next day

This entire album is basically a story from falling in love to breaking up if you listen to the album start to finish.
I've watched this live a million times and I still get goosebumps. Damien and Lisa were absolutely brilliant together!

I've been a fan of this group before their first album was for sale. I absolutely love them so much. Their album o is a masterpiece.
If you haven't already check out Lisa hannigan undertow live at other voices. She is so underrated it's a masterpiece.
She may not make the big $ but she’s not underrated. Most artist are borderline poverty. We do not honour The Arts or great teachers. We have lost our way.

Lisa Hannigan was his girlfriend at the time and they were working together until their relationship ended. That breakup made him write some beautiful songs, but unfortunately they never performed together again.

Great song love the woman singing at the beginning( don't know who she is) this song surprises me, that soft beginning and then when Damian comes in it gets wild .and heavy Can hear this over and over again.
The female singer is Lisa Hennigan. Back then his girlfriend, now his ex. They are both from Ireland.
