Great video i got a portal jist before Christmas and i love it giving me a chance to play games that ive never had chamce to play due to kids wife etc. I would love to see you make a video on the best games to play that you may not have played over the last few years. Just completed the last of us part 1 would never have got that chance if it wasnt for this device
Thanks very much! How did you find TLOU on the Portal? Did you use headphones too? I can definitely see myself replaying an RPG on the Portal, but I think I'd definitely have to use headphones on with something I hadn't played before.

I’ve played hitman 3 collection, fc 24 and fallout 4 this week, all going great. Was hoping to see a more exciting top 5! Anyhow, good vid.

@@TheGameFatherUK it should be scheduled for an early April 2024 release. Most retailers on my country have it on pre release sale from 01/01/2024 until 31/03/2024, so you should expect it around that time.

Baldur’s Gate wins #1 spot in my opinion. It’s a turn-based game.
I was torn about Baldur's Gate going in the top 5. You're right, it's an excellent game to play on the Portal, but it also requires quite a lot of attention with regard to the storyline etc. I reckon FFVII Rebirth will be excellent too, but I won't want to play it through casually with the TV on in the background, too much good stuff to miss.
Goat Simulator 3 is my go-to casual game.
I still haven't got round to trying it 😕 the name puts me off as much as the film 'Snakes on a plane' 😂
Im picking up P3 Reload next friday and the portal comes out on the same day. (In Australia) Would you recommend the Portal?
I haven't played a Persona game on it personally, but I have played a lot of FFVIIR on it and that's been great. Some games are better than others on it and I think some games provide a better experience on a big screen, Alan Wake 2 for example. It works fine on the Portal, but it's more enjoyable on the TV for me.
Mine is almost unplayable from lagging to full on freezing up debating on sending it back 🤦🏻♂️
If you can plug in your playstation 5 with an ethernet cable you will have a different experience

Sorry to hear that, have you had a look through my WiFi optimisation video for playing at home? It's a device that requires a very stable network and that can be a bit tricky to get right, especially with some environmental factors.
Your problem is very likely your WiFi router. If it’s a crappy router that your ISP gave you, then the Portal isn’t going to run on it. Spend the extra dough, and get you a WiFi 6 gaming router. It made all the difference in the world for my Portal. Runs super, super smooth now with no freezing / framerate glitches / PS5 disconnections.

Liked the idea fir this but maybe... Five best genres fir the portable... I dunno... Twin stick shooters is def a hit. Nex machina where are you on this this list... But feel like anyhthing turn based... Persona is going to fly.... The top 20 metacritic games... You can play on the sofa watching love island looms into the future .. i miss you robotron.
Ah man, Love Island... definitely a portal with headphones use-case scenario there!
