    What's New for 2022: All-wheel drive is now standard on all Mazda CX-5 SUVs. The front and rear of the vehicle get styling updates that include new bumpers, larger dual tailpipes, and a refreshed grille. Also, Mazda has tweaked the transmission and suspension to improve the CX-5's already impressive handling. Next, Mazda boosted the maximum output of the optional turbo engine to 255 horsepower and redesigned the SUV’s seats to heighten comfort and stability. Finally, it revised the CX-5 trim lineup.
    Some vehicles have the power to breathe excitement into your daily commute, and the Mazda CX-5 is one of them. This compact, five-passenger SUV delivers rewarding athleticism without sacrificing comfort. It also has one of the most stylish cabins in its class, with elegant design cues and top-notch materials.
    The CX-5’s biggest weakness is cargo capacity. Rivals such as the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 have more room for your belongings. But overall, the CX-5 is one of the most appealing compact SUVs, offering thrilling driving dynamics and a remarkably upscale interior.
    The Mazda CX-5 has a ritzy cabin, and it’s easily one of the most fun-to-drive picks in its class. However, it trails key rivals in cargo capacity, so it’s not a top choice if utility is a priority.

    I have a 2019 Acura RDX base level that I bought new for $38k and a 2021 CX5 that I bought new for $26k with leather interior and all the trimings. I love the RDX and have been buying Acuras since 1986, but it has its shortcomings, auto shut off when stopped its down right dangerous and should be outlawed, no blind spot alert standard costs at least $2k more to get. CX5 comes no shut off and blind side alert standard and it makes a big difference! The RDX is quicker but both cars handle well. Both are roomy and comfortable and the CX5 has leather as well! I have 30k miles on each, so far no problems except for am electrical wire harness short in the RDX, which was covered by the warranty. So if I don’t recover as much in 10 years, how much more will my RDX bring me?

    • @TheMichaelJu
      @TheMichaelJu 2 года назад

      Both prices are marked up so heavily. Honda is not building many RDXs in its Ohio East Liberty plant. Mazda delivery is slowed by congested ports. RDX is good to have tech package, but get more discount on it.

    Mazda cx5 for 2022 does not have wireless Apple CarPlay. You have to plug your lightning cable to car USB causing wear to your plug on your phone. Ever time you get into your car you have to plug in. So much for the advantage of having wireless charging. You still have to plug in. 2021 had wireless CarPlay but they had problems do they removed it in 2022. Instead of fixing the problem they went backwards and removed. Come on Mazda get with technology. This is disappointing. Please come up with a fix and do an update to the 2022’s so there is wireless CarPlay.

    2022 CX5 is not wireless Apple Car play. I bought an Carlinkit 3.0 which makes my Apple CarPlay wireless. It is awesome. Using a cable is a terrible idea. To plug your phone in every time you get in and to unplug every time you are in your vehicle is just primitive and terrible. To bad Mazda never finished the quality of the cx5. They were 1 step short of quality.
