Wow the armor trick is amazing! Until I get a backup set of Diamond armor enchanted with fire resistance IV, I’m going to set this rig up so that when I enter the nether, I’ll step right onto the pressure plates and have a full set of trashy iron armor put on me right away. I wonder if there’s a way to reverse that process to have all of your armor removed as well?? This was great though thanks.
Quick tip, if you have max level enchantments you're just as well off with only one piece having fire protection and the rest having normal protection in probably all cases since protection also reduces how much damage fire does. It does reduce it by less, but there's a maximum to how much any protection reduces any damage anyways. (Fire prot does reduce how *long* you're on fire for though so it's not identical) (also if you're only going for one type, multiple lower level fire protections also work just fine)
@@feenboi8930 because of how minecraft caps the defense that protection enchants give you (specifically, full prot 5 goes over the maximum that gets applied), having 3 prot 5 pieces of armor and one fire prot or blast protection or projectile protection piece is about as good in general as full prot 5 but better against whatever specific damage type the specialized protection works against. And normal protection works against all damage types, including fire. Therefore *if you're getting maxxed out armor anyway* , i believe the only real advantage of having more than one piece of armor have fire protection instead of normal protection is probably how it reduces *how long* you're on fire for if you catch on fire in the first place, if you're trying to use your armor to mitigate fire damage.
Tldr normal protection works against fire damage too. It does do so less well but because of how minecraft caps things, max level normal protection is mostly just as good and you can swap one piece of normal prot with fire prot if you're worried about fire

I’m 99% certain the looting bow trick doesn’t actually work. As you can see he only gets 2 mutton and 1 wool per sheep at most, an amount that is feasible without looting. Looting 3 should give you 3-5 mutton (I don’t know how much wool it gives), and as we see he gets nowhere near that amount
8:00 also instead of wood gate on wood fence, you can put one stone fence and it will not connect to the wood fence and the gap will be too small for animals to pass but you will be able to pass. I think it looks better than the wool carpet, also works if you have stone fence pen and put one wood fence in
The carpet trick is the same as the trap door one, albeit cheaper. However I found an equally interesting method which doesn't protect the herd from external mobs. You simply make the trap face inward. The friendly mobs can't jump it (I think the villagers are also included) but you can. It's very useful when you have to wall a herd. Just lure them with food and bring them in. They can't get out!
You can have infinite lava now, with dripstone and cauldron.. it will take some time to fill the cauldron with lava, but if you place 10 or 15, you will have plenty..😁
An extra tip I would add to the lava bucket smeling is you can make pointed dripstone drip into a cauldron to get infinite lava, so you don't have to run to where ever lava is
If you place a wood fence next to a sandstone fence. It creates a small gap that won't allow the adult animals to get out, but the babies can on occasion when it's filled up. :)

Your advice won't work for someone like myself because I play on my Android. So keyboard shortcuts don't apply for us. Have any suggestions or advice for working around that issue?
The very useful thing that I've applied always is that I use lava bucket for cooking and smelting even before the caves and cliffs update because lava bucket is more efficient. You either find a temporary lava pool nearby your base or create a nether portal and if you're lucky, you might be near to a lava there, infinite lava buckets. In the late game, you might have materials for pistons observer bamboo etc. Then you can make a automatic bamboo farm for fuel for cooking or smelting.

coal blocks are better than lava cause you can stack them so you could have 64 of them in the furnace at once which smelts 5120 items and 1 lava bucket is better than 1 coal block a lava bucket cant stack so it can only smelt 100 items
I have a small manual dripstone lava farm right next to my furnace array at the basement, so when I need to smelt anything I just grab some lava from there.

1:34 Actually, I can improve your tip. Put slabs every other block. Leave gaps of exactly one block. Spiders can't get in through single blocks. So, windows of 2 are dangerous, while single block holes are safe. 5:20 Can you fact check me please? Is lava renewable? And no, not settings "convert to source". Put dripstone block, pointed dripstone and cauldron, do you get lava and I am simply impatient, or was it useless?
I agree that lava is good for smelting in this situation (although I wouldnʼt go so far as to say itʼs the best generally; stackability is important). But the thumbnail showing the trick is weird; why would you smelt down an iron ore block in 1.18?
But I also agree; bamboo/sticks/ladders are generally the best option, given enough storage space Edit: hybrid options work well IF you include a non-stacking item filter in your smelter-array, but I'm guessing that's not considered a beginner-level build
@@derianvandalsen I like things I can either get automatically (bamboo, sticks, charcoal with a good tree farm, carpets if I allow duping, azalea is the new best there) or things that can do a whole lot at once (blocks of coal, since they stack)

I never knew you can have the Looting effect on your bow if you hold a Looting sword on your off-hand, that's crazy.
All have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God. We stand guilty before a Holy and righteous God, We broke Gods commands and now we are all deserving of Hell a place of torment, Gods wrath and we can’t do anything to save ourselves, but God being rich in mercy, sent His Son Jesus who was willing to die on the cross for our sins taking upon Himself the punishment we deserve, the wrath of God that you deserve fell upon Jesus, He was buried and then rose the 3rd day. By faith in Christ you can be forgiven of all your sins and granted eternal life and be with the Lord. Put your trust in Jesus before it’s too late.
