Giant oak trees take longer to mine though Unless you are playing sky block or something with limited resources it is more efficient to just have a large tree faem
You can still change your gamma on bedrock. You just have to go to settings and go to video or studio and you will find it there. It usually has it on 50 so if you wanted to you can double the brightest. I hope this helped!
This may be my personal preference, but I think large oak trees are significantly worse for farming logs. The only benefits are the fact that each large oak tree gives more oak per sapling (not by any crazy amount, usually 2-3 times as much) and more saplings returned per tree. The problem I have is it takes WAY more bone meal to instantly grow the tree and the tree (especially early game) can take upwards of 15 times longer to fully harvest since some logs stay hidden in the leaves. the larger amount of logs gained per tree does not justify the drastically increased time per harvest.
8:50 there is an easier way of doing this: Simply place your door so that it bars the way when "opened". Zombies will not bash in doors that are "open", regardless of whether they bar the way or not. To do this simply face the wall when placing the door instead of facing the gap.
Something most people don't know: At least in bedrock edition you can use this (§) strange symbol with a numher or letter after to color the text! Each number/letter makes a collor or text formatting. For example typing "§1 random message" would make everything past the "§1" colored in dark blue! When you want to "deactivate" the coloring use §r , making everything after it to return to normal . The § and adjacent number/letter disappears on the actual text. It works basically everywhere you can input text!
Should mention the chorus fruit trick to land quickly could also be used when your elytra breaks mid-flight preventing you from fall damage when you stop flying. You can also use fishing rods to move minecarts in farms if they get stuck or stop moving, handy when you dont want to crawl in a 1 tall gap to get them moving.
For number 2, if you're on bedrock you can bridge by placing blocks forward and you don't have to do the sneak turn around method. (I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's really useful once you know how.) It's not in the video, but the pick block feature is something I learned about recently that has been useful to my gameplay.
One alternative you can do if you don't want fence gates infront of your doors is by placing your door sideways or in an "open position". The zombies will then register your door as open even when its closed, therefore they won't try breaking the door. I hope it makes sense.
It’s crazy because I (and many others) used to think chorus fruits were basically pointless other than being a mediocre food source in the end, but you’ve opened my eyes to how useful they really are.
bedrock players can also change brightness, it's under video settings! :] i have my brightness up to 100. for my game it doesn't always make everything as bright as it would be in day time, but it's at least bright enough to see what I'm doing. super helpful when caving or in the nether.
I’m not going to lie, but I just decided to watch this video for fun, unaware that there were some tips & tricks I didn’t know of. Turns out I was proven wrong, and I definitely learned something new from this video! I love your type of content, and definitely underrated imo
Your voice is so soothing. Everyone else talks so fast, I have to slow the speed on youtube down or my anxiety ramps. Your cadence is a breath of fresh air. I would listen to you talk about anything.
Another tip is to use tipped arrows rather than a splash potion, you can get a stack of tipped arrows from a cauldron filled with three potions, allowing you to cure many more villagers
I'd love a pirate update where you can add a steering wheel to anything you build on water to make it a drivable ships. Maybe encountering a new mob, pirates, who you can attack for loot like gold, gunpowder and treasure maps. Maybe the speed of your ship depends on how much wool you have in your sail or something. Would be sweet.
6:40 now I wish they added cactus in those chests. I have a world with friends and it took us 3 weeks to find a dessert. Like beaches everywhere. Some beaches were so big it was stupid. The closest dessert was 4.000 blocks away... I know it is a unlucky seed but having a chance to get cactus from chests whould help...
8:50 there's a better way to do this. When placing your door, place it sideways so it's closed when it's opened and opened when it's closed. The zombies think the door is opened and won't break them when it's actually closed
12:30 no! Dont do that because sometimes the cure time is random. I did this and some cured faster then others and they reinfected eachother again and I ended up losing 20 golden apples and a potion...
Something my friend found my accident, if you are underwater, bring a bucket with you. if you go up against a block at your height( preferably a corner), you can hold right click and it’ll place and pick up that water block. Eventually it will replenish your oxygen.
Fishing rods are op I’ve gotten like 50 enchanted books including mending from fishing .but to get a lot of books you need luck of the sea:makes pulls luckier and has three versions you also need lure:makes pulls come in a-lot faster than usual and finally mending:this makes the fishing rod almost never break because every time you fish you get xp and you need xp for mending.I hope this helped.
I super appreciate these videos. Not only do you explain things super logically and straightforward, I also just like how calm your voice is. A nice change from the other minecraft YTers yelling at me lol. Subbed!
Wow! So much to learn... I've filled notebooks with tutorial notes, schematics, coordinates, base ana, etc. I ♡ the idea of Book & quill this! Also, I use signs with dye & glow ink to mark coordinates or jot down note re: locations, structures, specific mine paths tunnels,, etc. to revisit if for example I ran out of resources to do it at the moment,
I’d like to just say your voice makes a really enjoyable peaceful video and your very helpful to me… I saw your video on Ores and since the update I have struggled so much to find them! Thank you so much even though this comment is on this video… I really like the fishing rod item grabbing. Very neat.
OMG DUDE your tip about F3+P just changed my (Minecraft) life!! I had no idea that was a thing and was constantly frustrated by the need to babysit my computer while I was AFK! THANK YOU!!!!!!
I was also annoyed by the fact that they changed this, but you can also just open your inventory or chat and it will keep the game running, at least for me.
For the "Pause on Lost Focus" (11:11), another way of pausing my game without actually pausing my game is to just simply open up my inventory and then tab out of Minecraft. This method still runs the game in the background
you can just use arrow of weakness to heal a Villager instead of splash potion and if you have a crossbow with a piercing enchant you can almost use the arrow infinitely as long as there is a block behind the Villager. (this is for bedrock edition I'm not sure if this works in Java.)
@9:13 on the topics of Doors, If you place the Door against the Wall and then close it, the Zombies will think the door ist Open and don't try to break it. That is possible because the default position of a door when placed ist closed. Flick the door once and the state of the door ist Open, but it still blocks the way. No fence required!
Do u not see the issue with your zombie villagers? What happens when the first one cures, he's instsntly attacked by 7 other zombies who havent turned back yet
I knew most of those. You did teach me 3 things. Never thought about using chorus to land. Didn't know what a quillbook was even for. Carrying magma underwater. Gave me the idea to just create permanent magma "roads" to areas i want to explore or mine. Good stuff. Thanks.
A couple mid-game pro tips: Get a fishing rod with the Mending enchantment (either keep fishing or combine with a mending book using an anvil) With Mending it will never break and will take care of food and xp, plus random enchanted items that accumulate. Luck of the Sea is another enchantment to apply for higher chances of enchanted loot. Another tip is to create tunnels in the nether to fast-travel in the overworld. 2 blocks wide 3 blocks high, build tunnels to connect different portals. 2x3 tunnels allow you to ride a horse between portals. Great way to travel if you don’t have elytra.
I use fishing too. Always snag an awesome Luck of the Sea 3, Lure 2 or 3, Unbreakable, & Mending rod. Also loads of enchanted bows I combine. Just made a Power 5 with mending. Ended up with a dozen saddles for those future nether steeds too.
Off top. Glad you stated the "8 rule" at the beginning. 1 coal = 8 things smelted (any "thing", any "furnace", only speed changes). It so funny how many little tricks there are.
Instead of adding a gate to keep zombies from breaking doors, you can instead put your door on the side of your doorway, so when you open the door it looks as If it's closed in your doorway, the zombies register it as open and will not break it.
I have been into minecraft a bit lately and you are the only minecrafter I subscibe to and watch videos of. As your voice is so peaceful it's like my new ASMR alt for sleeping.
My friends and I just started a new world for The Wild update. One of the first things I did was make a campfire and fishing rod. Easy infinite cooked food and the rng snagged me a Power 4 bow.
12:00 this is an awful idea, as the villagers will cure at different variable times... meaning that the first villager to get cured will get immediately mauled by all the zombies around him and reinfected.
I've been using the magma block strat for underwater since the block was released. Honestly tho instead of crouching either dig one block deep, or place any block next to the magma block. Stand in the edge, then the magma block will pull you down but your on a safe block so as long as drown, or guardians don't poke you, you can afk without crouching underwater for however long you want. I do it literally every time it's so useful. Me personally I only crouch in emergency situations.
@@calumhughes2778 I know that but I can get more logs in a shorter amount of time by planting trees that don't become giant oaks. Giant oaks you have to jump around and break leaves to get all the logs.
You could do more than the standard nine for the dispenser raffle by hooking several dispensers up to one lever via redstone, facing them to the center, and having a hopper that isn't attached to anything, and has all but one block filled so that only one input could go in. You could also use nametags in the dispensers.
Fishing rods don’t move items anymore (at least in 1.19 bedrock) but they do move mobs and they have the same effect as eggs where it will appear that it’s damaging the mob but it will never kill it
12:00 Bad advise. Villagers heal at different rates. As soon as one heals, he'll get converted back by another zombie villager that wasn't cured yet. You have to separate them

Thank you very much for giving your time so that we can use our time wisely
There is a glitch/feature that the dragon's face is an infinite supply of dragons breath Also, you can switch between Creative and Spectator even more easily with F3+N Another trick is using tipped arrows of weakness instead of potions The night vision thing doesn't work in 1.19 anymore, but there's a vanillatweaks resourcepack
For the cheaper villager healing, if doesn't work. They all recover at different times. So the zombie villagers who have yet to turn will rezombiefy them. And then the one zombie remaining will re infect them all.
@12:00 so even though I'm pretty fast with the apples, one villager will be cured first, and then be immediately zombified again by the zombie villager(s) that weren't cured yet.

auctually larger oak trees are much less efficient then small ones. i always make tree farms with roofs so the trees don't grow too big for me to reach all of the blocks easily
8:49 A much more simpler way is to reverse the door. Have it look closed but it's actually in the open state. You can do this by placing it on the side of the top side instead of the front or back.

@@Werevampiwolf I thought about the new lava thing, but it fills cauldrons, not buckets, how do you make it go into buckets to go into furnace? with bamboo it can be dropped into the furnaces
11:30 Actually there is an easier way of doing this. Just open any block with a GUI when you go AFK and your game wont be paused. I have crafting tables or chests in all of my AFK spots and it helps a lot
I only cook using a fireplace. I always use the book and quill to write down a to do list as I often have multiple projects on the go and forget what I'm doing. Or making a shopping list for builds, 3 stacks of slabs, 5 hoppers, ect
The zombie villager tip is a bit misleading, as they won't all heal at the same time. Basically, some would heal before others, become re-infected, and then infect the rest when they heal.
I was about to said it. Using a single potion to cure several villagers is fine, but be sure that they are separated enough (with walls or in carts). The example showed in the video is not a right way to cure villagers.

You can still change your gamma on bedrock. You just have to go to settings and go to video or studio and you will find it there. It usually has it on 50 so if you wanted to you can double the brightest. I hope this helped!
Thank you very much bro, this is really helpful :)
@@Qithah_ Sure thing! I never knew a comment from a year ago would still value :D
Giant spruce tree supremacy
8:50 there is an easier way of doing this: Simply place your door so that it bars the way when "opened". Zombies will not bash in doors that are "open", regardless of whether they bar the way or not. To do this simply face the wall when placing the door instead of facing the gap.
Something most people don't know:
At least in bedrock edition you can use this (§) strange symbol with a numher or letter after to color the text!
Thank you👍
Should mention the chorus fruit trick to land quickly could also be used when your elytra breaks mid-flight preventing you from fall damage when you stop flying.
You can also use fishing rods to move minecarts in farms if they get stuck or stop moving, handy when you dont want to crawl in a 1 tall gap to get them moving.
Chorus fruit actually preserves momentum, so while this can work you have to make sure you eat the chorus fruit before you fall too far.
For number 2, if you're on bedrock you can bridge by placing blocks forward and you don't have to do the sneak turn around method. (I'm not sure how to explain it, but it's really useful once you know how.)
It's not in the video, but the pick block feature is something I learned about recently that has been useful to my gameplay.
Yes, bedrock's placing mechanics are way easier than java
Very true
I just sprint forward placing blocks haha its so much easier for bridging in the nether.
Do you know if infinity enchantments work with tipped arrows?
@@modestojones5705Dont know if you still need to know but no they dont work with tipped arrows, they will get used up
11:33 or you can just open your inventory it will keep the game running and u can afk easily
Yeah, that’s what I do if I ever need to afk on PC
That works on singleplayer but not on multiplayer
I'd love a pirate update where you can add a steering wheel to anything you build on water to make it a drivable ships. Maybe encountering a new mob, pirates, who you can attack for loot like gold, gunpowder and treasure maps. Maybe the speed of your ship depends on how much wool you have in your sail or something. Would be sweet.
All aboard the S.S PP
6:40 now I wish they added cactus in those chests. I have a world with friends and it took us 3 weeks to find a dessert. Like beaches everywhere. Some beaches were so big it was stupid. The closest dessert was 4.000 blocks away... I know it is a unlucky seed but having a chance to get cactus from chests whould help...
I just bought 2 pieces from a trader and grew my own, still haven't found a desert yet lol
Same! Have yet to find a freaking desert. Bought cactus from a wandering trader. Totally worth the emeralds 🥲
@@pbower4378 that's exactly what I did, have a cactus farm now and still haven't found a desert lol
Not if you stay in the area
2:20 just go down and fly and make fast 360 fast and untill you land. This works on java pc. No fall damage!
Bro, I was like 10 years without playing minecraft and your channel saved me a lot with tips and how new things works on the game. Thanks a lot
Very neat.
The camp fire works great when paired with a hopper and chest. Yes you only have 4 slots still but no need to stick around and wait
OMG DUDE your tip about F3+P just changed my (Minecraft) life!! I had no idea that was a thing and was constantly frustrated by the need to babysit my computer while I was AFK! THANK YOU!!!!!!
Its definitely super useful for not burning screens and multi-tasking, glad to help!
This will work on Java, as long as you dont shoot more entities then the enchantment level
4:08 i use it for my projects as well as my to do list😊
11:31 useful to disable it when afking at farms
Do u not see the issue with your zombie villagers? What happens when the first one cures, he's instsntly attacked by 7 other zombies who havent turned back yet
use the minecart thing that he suggested
stay in line of sight and they wont attack each other
4:53 for spectator any other gamemode you can use F3 + N
I knew most of those. You did teach me 3 things. Never thought about using chorus to land. Didn't know what a quillbook was even for. Carrying magma underwater. Gave me the idea to just create permanent magma "roads" to areas i want to explore or mine. Good stuff. Thanks.
I think the fast switch between gamemodes is really helpful. Thanks.
I like your voice it's so calm and i really enjoy your videos
Thank you!
A couple mid-game pro tips:
Get a fishing rod with the Mending enchantment (either keep fishing or combine with a mending book using an anvil) With Mending it will never break and will take care of food and xp, plus random enchanted items that accumulate.
For travel in the nether, I usually go to the roof and use the ice boat method. but yeah fishing is so effective
didn't know 5 minute crafts made minecraft videos now
Off top. Glad you stated the "8 rule" at the beginning. 1 coal = 8 things smelted (any "thing", any "furnace", only speed changes). It so funny how many little tricks there are.
I cannot express my tremendous gratitude for the permanent night vision thing
👍
Instead of adding a gate to keep zombies from breaking doors, you can instead put your door on the side of your doorway, so when you open the door it looks as If it's closed in your doorway, the zombies register it as open and will not break it.
11:25 You can also just open the chat menu
I have been into minecraft a bit lately and you are the only minecrafter I subscibe to and watch videos of. As your voice is so peaceful it's like my new ASMR alt for sleeping.
My friends and I just started a new world for The Wild update. One of the first things I did was make a campfire and fishing rod. Easy infinite cooked food and the rng snagged me a Power 4 bow.
dude I love your content please keep making more
Nice video tips just in time for 1.19 ✅
unfortenetly gamma cant be changed in 1.19
As always, wonderful video!
I'm been trying to figure out how to easily toggle game modes like that, but whenever I search it the f3 f4 way never comes up.
Now I know, thanks!
No Problem!
I dont like giant oak trees. Takes too long to cut down. I normally place a block 9 blocks above the sapling to prevent giant oaks in my farm.
It takes a long time because you get more wood…
@@calumhughes2778 I know that but I can get more logs in a shorter amount of time by planting trees that don't become giant oaks. Giant oaks you have to jump around and break leaves to get all the logs.
@@evilbucket1608 Yes, I went on and tried it and realised quickly the irritation of the leaves. You're right.
You could do more than the standard nine for the dispenser raffle by hooking several dispensers up to one lever via redstone, facing them to the center, and having a hopper that isn't attached to anything, and has all but one block filled so that only one input could go in. You could also use nametags in the dispensers.
Always a good day when you upload
Thanks!
Agreed
Fishing rods don’t move items anymore (at least in 1.19 bedrock) but they do move mobs and they have the same effect as eggs where it will appear that it’s damaging the mob but it will never kill it
This is by far the best Minecraft channel on YT for tips & tricks!
That valley inside the mountains was really cool 13:55
12:00 Bad advise. Villagers heal at different rates. As soon as one heals, he'll get converted back by another zombie villager that wasn't cured yet. You have to separate them
It's great if you're trying to mass-zombie and unzombie a bunch of them to get cheaper trades
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I am a newbie and I play bedrock and I don’t play very much but I really enjoy your videos they’re absolutely my favorite videos because you give really good information and you don’t jumble it up and you never do pranks or that stuff so I find myself just only listening to you as my time is really valuable to me. Thank you very much for giving your time so that we can use our time wisely
There is a glitch/feature that the dragon's face is an infinite supply of dragons breath
Also, you can switch between Creative and Spectator even more easily with F3+N
Another trick is using tipped arrows of weakness instead of potions
The night vision thing doesn't work in 1.19 anymore, but there's a vanillatweaks resourcepack
Btw for the tipped arrows trick you need a piercing crossbow
For the cheaper villager healing, if doesn't work. They all recover at different times. So the zombie villagers who have yet to turn will rezombiefy them. And then the one zombie remaining will re infect them all.
@12:00 so even though I'm pretty fast with the apples, one villager will be cured first, and then be immediately zombified again by the zombie villager(s) that weren't cured yet.
Is it still possible to tweak the gamma setting outside the range [0-1] in 1.19? I heard this bug was patched in the 1.19 pre-release.
When I updated to 1.19 this morning, my gamma had reverted to "normal". I haven't tried to change it back to 100 yet but no other updates have done this before.
luckly i found your comment, i m trying to get the gamma out of range, but in 1.19 doesn t work... :(
@@lamelanonperdona3141 Damn... I was so busy playing with my new toys that I totally forgot about that. Yeah, that tweak is no longer possible, it only resets the gamma setting to a default value. Thanks for the feedback, though. 😁
8:49 Far easyer way to place a door if you place it from the side of a door way so that when the door is showing closed it acts as Physically open and mobs can pass through it. and they cannot attack it.
I’ve been wondering how to get the game mode menu FOREVER I just didn’t know what to call it to look it up. Thanks for that!!
No problem!
These tips are actually helpful even for an advanced player, thank you! :)
I use almost all of these, but noticed they're not common knowledge. So thanks for telling everyone about them! The suspicious stew mooshroom is a life saver.
Thank you, this was most useful and helpful. 🙏🙏😊😊
auctually larger oak trees are much less efficient then small ones. i always make tree farms with roofs so the trees don't grow too big for me to reach all of the blocks easily
2:06 The way your character was flying caught me way off guard there lmao
8:49
A much more simpler way is to reverse the door. Have it look closed but it's actually in the open state. You can do this by placing it on the side of the top side instead of the front or back.
you can do an automatic furnace with carpet duplicator, if you don't want carpet duplicator, do a bamboo farm and use it as fuel. I even made a water way from bamboo farm to supply the furnaces.
Yeah. My last game, I set up a furnace system attached to an auto bamboo farm. This time, I'm experimenting with the renewalable lava using dripstone
This... Is AWESOME. Thank you!
I only cook using a fireplace.
I always use the book and quill to write down a to do list as I often have multiple projects on the go and forget what I'm doing. Or making a shopping list for builds, 3 stacks of slabs, 5 hoppers, ect
I won't use giant oak. Yes it's better per sapling but it harder to mine them as the blocks are located randomly in the form
The zombie villager tip is a bit misleading, as they won't all heal at the same time. Basically, some would heal before others, become re-infected, and then infect the rest when they heal.
Just stay where u r and the zombie will stay aggro on u and it’ll work fine
You can also fish the healed ones out of the hole
The sprint and sneak info alone... I
The only annoying thing about useing magma blocks underwater is that you cant use togle crouch, you have to keep holding it down.
For cheaper villager healing, won’t the ones who take longer to heal kill and rezombify the villagers?
yeah, but not if they're in minecarts which aren't on top of each other
As long as the delay isn’t too long, the zombie will only hurt them
Yeah unless you make chambers or keep them separated
I was about to said it. Using a single potion to cure several villagers is fine, but be sure that they are separated enough (with walls or in carts). The example showed in the video is not a right way to cure villagers.
Also put three potions in a cauldron. You can dip a full stack of arrows in it and have 64 instead of 3
Wow, by far the MOST informative video I've found so far. Especially when it comes to the Mooshrooms and the shulker box, I never knew!
Didn't know about F3+P. Thanks.
