And they are the sweetest and funniest brothers ever! Love what you said about Barry. There is a lovely interview about his being the last man standing. He still performs in his 70s and had a no. 1 album with Greenfields. Forever Bee Gees!
The Gibb brothers are a blessing to us all! Thank you for sharing your beautiful reaction to them. As time passes, I appreciate the Bee Gees more & more!
Love the Bee Gees they are the best group ever. I have been privileged to have listened to them all my life. These brothers are truly music phenomenal. Their music will always make you happy. Great reaction!! Subscribed!!
Thank you for reacting to this amazing song. The Bee Gees truly had special gifts, when you hear their voices you know exactly who you are listening to 🥰 Growing up with the incredible music of the 60’s & 70’s is my favorite memory, I listen to music from these times every day to be happy, healthy & have special memories stay alive 🥰 ‘I’ve Got to Get A Message To You’ is my favorite early BeeGees as well as ‘ I Started A Joke’ ! Glad you have discovered the music from my teenage days !! Keep searching, try finding some of the girl groups of the 60’s, & or teen love/sad songs of same time period !💥
I would say they are the best sibling group, but then again there are the Jacksons, the Osmunds, The Carpenters; just to name a few more, that just have that inate ability to harmonize perfectly.
Great reaction thanks 🙏 check out Bee Gees with a performance outside by the river in New York with the Twin Tower’s in the background, a video with a song called ( For Whom The Bell Tolls) an amazing rendition!
I'm 60 and have listened to them forever and had never heard that song until yesterday and it's amazing. I didn't know that it was them that sang Run To Me. It's crazy how many songs and sounds and genres they have. 21 albums are a lot though.
You are right Sarah. The quality of the music through the 70s and 80s will arguably never be repeated. It really was a great time to be starting your teenage years in the early 70s if you loved music.
@Sarah- Don't forget about the greatest group ever The Beatles. Another great reaction by the Begees. How can you Mend a broken Heart is one of my fav Begee songs. Please react to I Just got to get a message to you by them. You will love that one to. Barry will be 76 Sept 1st.
Their songs on the Saturday Night Fever songs that you haven’t reacted to are NIGHT FEVER - the song that gave the movie its name, IF I CANT HAVE YOU - by Yvonne Elliman and also by Bee Gees, and YOU SHOULD BE DANCING - the sing Travolta’s most iconic dance was to. All timeless classic hits!!!
Great reaction, Sarah, as we have come to expect from you! The Bee Gees are fantastic singers and songwriters and are deserving of all the accolades they receive. When Barry said hello to the caller Donna, and started singing a couple of lines to her, those were from the song called "Donna" by Ritchie Valens who was tragically killed in a plane crash in February 1959 along with Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper (JP Richardson), RIP. Best to you Sarah, stay cool!
Sarah I want to say , That as someone who absolutely was born into and grew up under The American & British Experience... And at the very same time there was yet another Musical 💥 Explosion taking place right along with it..! 🤔 And that was The Spanish/ Latin Music Sarah... Well , I got to experience THE VERY BEST OF BOTH THESE WORLD'S OF MUSICAL TALENTS... Both, the ENGLISH & SPANISH/LATIN MUSICAL WORLDS were just as rich one to the other... Both World's we're growing and feeding of each other but one would not know this unless you were BILINGUAL like me and many like me ... And Yes Sarah , It was an amazing experience to WATCH , HEAR & LISTEN to so much TALENT all happening simultaneously just like an 💥 Explosion..! But...My Dearest Sarah , Although it was amazing to live through it all .You must understand that it all came at a very , very, heavy price... It is a very , very long story that I believe most of your audience would rather not here or listen to what I have to say on this matter... Eventually, I must say it even if it means not returning anymore to comment at all. I believe you are an Amazing Young & Beautiful Soul Sarah. And I have something to share with you and I eventually will... And By The Way , There is only ONE...🙏☝️ THAT CAN MEND A... 💔 Thank you Dear Sarah... 🙏
@@SarahDengler Yes they broke up for about 18 months. Ego's got in the way (Barry and Robin) poor Mo was stuck in the middle. Barry and Robin both wanted to be the lead singer. There is a documentary on HBO called How to mend a broken heart that gives their story.
@@SarahDengler Yes,At the end of 1969, the group disbanded after the brothers had fallen out. Already in the middle of 1970 the dispute between the brothers could be settled and it came to a reunion of the band. Robin went after the break solo, Barry made something with Maurice. they had troubles bc of lead singing, they were in the twenties, each had an ego and people around told themthey should go solo.
I just recommended Foo Fighters on one of your other videos. They also have a “side band” called DeeGees. Look up their cover of “you should be dancing.” You won’t believe it’s the Foo. Sooo good.
I have this concert (Live By Request) on DVD. Yes the music was fantastic, but my favorite part was when Billy Joel called in to ask Robin something about his (Billy's) ex-wife Christy Brinkley back when they were neighbors LOL The audience reacted, the brothers reacted..... it was hilarious!!! Robin handled it beautifully but I'm not so sure I believe him hahahahahhaa
Robin did handle that accusation pretty darn well & they all chuckled over it....but believe Billy said it was his first wife, & Christie was his second🥰!
You should react to a song they dedicated to Andy gibb which was Our love (Don't throw it all away) Live in Las Vegas, 1997. I cry everytime I hear it.
Sarah you are one of my favorite reviewers and the love you have for the bee gees is screaming off the screen. Please check out Fanny be tender with my love with the video. You will be blown away. It was one of their favorites but they never did it live because Mo said it was a bitch to sing. The harmonies are perfection. Also I am a big Mo fan so check out Man in the Middle where he sings about his addiction and his role in the group. Also Nights on Broadway on the MIDNIGHT SPECIAL.
Thanks for acknowledging my comment. I can not wait for you to watch the videos I mentioned. You will be so emotional and the goosebumps will come out. I love to watch you because I feel you have the same love and admiration for these brothers. Like Barry said we are the enigma with the stigma. That is how they felt and what Barry must feel now that generations later are not ashamed to enjoy their music
You need to check out their children!!! The Gibb Collective Please don’t turn out the lights. It’s the oldest children of each brother including Andy’s daughter. Their harmonies almost match their father’s!!!
They were probably the best group of brothers writing and singing their own songs, ever.
There is literally no other better sounding "live" band than the BeeGees.
And they are the sweetest and funniest brothers ever! Love what you said about Barry. There is a lovely interview about his being the last man standing. He still performs in his 70s and had a no. 1 album with Greenfields. Forever Bee Gees!
She really knows how to do a first reaction. Perfect. Let the song live !!!
They ARE the best harmony of ALL time!! So many hits throughout the decades
The Gibb brothers are a blessing to us all! Thank you for sharing your beautiful reaction to them. As time passes, I appreciate the Bee Gees more & more!
I could of kept watching them for the rest of the day/ month/year!!!😊

It was a BEAUTIFUL WORLD! So MUCH love!!!! Bless you!
A beautiful song. RIP Maurice & Rip (and brother Andy).😀
Donna, who called in, was right to ask for their song "Gotta Get a Message to You". Very beautiful and touching song.
Wow what a great reaction. This is one of my favorite songs by them. Thanks Sarah
Love this song ! This is one of my favorites !
There is another video where they were younger and you would.love it too .
They made some of the best music as I look at ever.

Listening to the Bee Gees heals a broken heart ...... lovin it from Toronto Canada 🇨🇦

The Gibbs are the best ever!
About as best as you can get to perfect harmony.

Very good and moving reaction, Sarah! Another great Bee Gees song! ❤❤

This one and Lonely Days were their making up songs after their brief split of 15 to 18 months in the 60s
I wish I could have seen them in concert. I love them so much. The original recording was slower.
I totally agree with you Sarah. This song is strangely, heartbreakingly beautiful. 💔
It is a very bigger rabbit hole you have fallen down..enjoy the ride. I have been on the ride since the 60s..

Love these older songs of theirs.

they wrote this and lonely days the first day they came back together after the breakup and I do believe they were both their 1st number ones.
They broke up at some point?!🙁

You are my favorite doing this Sarah.

Hon I'm so sorry to tell you Barry passed recently. My heart breaks to know all 4 is gone.
where did you get that information? Nothing about that anywhere...seems like you just killed barry!
I knew he had a partial leg amputation but not anything else. He looked really bad.
@@kathieovercash8414I don't believe Barry had a partial leg amputation.🥺

ICHKERIA!
Just for ears, the studio version featuring Robin is the best. It is more emotional, smoother vocals.
nice

No they didnt have a bad song!!! ❤❤❤
This was written when they got back together
