This is the reigning champion of all guitar instruction RUclips channels, and that is not an easy title to defend. There's a lot of great channels out there, but this one has been the best for years.

Never heard it explained like this. Because of this video, I had an "Ahh haa moment", "oh that's how they do it". I REALLY REALLY appreciate this video!!!!! Practiced it for an hour or so, before I knew it I was shredding a bit faster & smoother than ever before. Before this video, I honestly could not shred for the life of me. Uncle Ben, seriously... thank you sooo much for teaching this.

This is a joy, because it at last gives you some real fluency with speed. Struggling with string jumping and loosing fluency at that point, drove me to just give up with alt picking. But at last I can move from string to string with a degree accuracy which gives me the impetus to get back into it. Thank you so much. 👍

Not sure if what you taught here is same or similar to Troy Grady’s videos but I must say, I walk away from your video understanding this method and knowing I’ll be applying it to my playing for sure. You gave me something I can use. Not to diss on Troy too much but you holding your fingers up and picking across them like strings demonstrated the downward picking concept so much better than the fancy animated graphics in Troy’s videos. Thanks Sensei!

Thanks, Uncle Ben. Nice practice lick, for ascending and descending fours, sort of. If I accentuate those quadruplets, it sounds sick. If I play straight sixteenths, it's kind of hard for it not to devolve into muddy triplets, with a sixteenths addendum. But if I really nail sort of cascading fours, I'm getting a way more sinister sound. So it's the final four note sequence repeating, after two different 4 note sequences, rather than two frolicking sextuplets with four midgets kind of crashing the party. Basically, I'm shooting bursts of four with my AR-SixString.
