Awesome video! I love Bitola, definitely the most beautiful city in Vardar Macedonia.
Heraclea Lyncestis is a Macedonian city founded by King Philip II. Lyncestis is the ancient name for the region and what used to be a tiny kingdom covering both Bitola and Florina in Aegean Macedonia geographically. After the Romans took over and created the province of Macedonia in the footprint of the country, they built these beautiful now ancient ruins of the theater and other structres, and the Byzantine East Romans built the mosaics later on. I'd love to go, stuck in Australia because of this virus.

And stay a day or two in the Villa Dihovo to experience the montian hut lifestyle. You can also visit all the mountian hotels like Molika and Shumski Feneri. The city center has lots of old rustic pubs and bars with live music which if your lucky you can find some good bands. The Macedonian Theater is also great the city is know not only for Philip but the brothers Manaki who are the first filmmakers in the Balkans. ;)

Asparuh Khan is the first Bulgarian ruler who said; Bulgaria and Mongolia have completely common roots in Asia because they came from Tatarstan!
Khan is a title derived from Turkish or Mongolian which means "prince" or "ruler".
Asparuh was the third son of Khan Kubrat. He gained political experience in the Ongurian Empire in Eastern Europe but when the kingdom collapsed due to pressure from the Khazars, Asparuh and his four brothers with a large number of Protobulgars quickly moved from the southern Donau Delta to the Balkan Mountains.
Asparuh Khan founded Bulgaria in 681 year as an alliance with the seven Slavic tribes.

i stayed in the same suite!
woohooo! the robevski suites are awesome enjoy! they are named after historical figures that were from that region
the region and historical name is emathia which includes the plains of pelegonia. emathia was named after the Samothracian king Emathion..
emathia = 'large dimension or area' ~amathos(greek) = a'ashtëmadhosh(Homer) in albanian _eshtë e madhe_
the region has lakes, swamp marshlands, rivers, mountains and sea(currently Thessaloniki, greece) and also the mountains are scattered with natural springs and medicinal plants, teas and herbs - you just have to watch out for the bears 🐻
the region has so much history..for example it had a thriving Jewish community which lived there for generations ...until the germans came through which forced them into nth albania where they were hidden and protected
it is written that the pelasgians were the first to inhabit europe:
*_"Pindar (Carminia, Fragmenta Selecta, I, 240) tells: Bringing a beautifull gift, the earth made the first human being, the “Divine pelasgus”, be born in arcadia, long before making the moon."_*
lynkestis/bitola/manastir/the city of consuls was a thriving trading hub for all surrounding regions and all that passed through
pellister mountain is one of the taller/larger mountains within the baba mountain range and great for skiing in the winter..it also is a national park and on the other side of the mountain range is the prespa lake which you may be able to hike to the peaks to get a glimpse of if you find an honest guide..or one that knows the mountain
    the heraclea ruins are amazing
so jealous now 😫 but so happy that you both made it thus far. its always so much fun traveling through european borders
    much love ❤

Make sure you visit the Museum of the Albanian Alphabet. The Albanian city of Bitola is the birthplace of the Albanian Alphabet & the building in Bitola where the congress was held today is transformed into a museum. The "Congress of Manastir" aimed at standardizing the Albanian alphabet, was held in Bitola (then Manastir) from November 14 to November 22, 1908. Today, the date November 22 is celebrated as national holiday in Macedonia (Ilirida) Albania & Kosova (Kosovo.)

That building is 5 minutes from my house..and literrally no one give a shit about your albanian alphabet who was created in Romania at first from your west masonic and catolic masters for their interests in this part of europe! ..and there isnt nothing interesting about that building also. Maby its interesting for u , because u are Alabanian, but for no one else. Btw Bitola is 98% Christian Macedonian city!

The world famous Enver Pasha (born 22 November 1881 - died 4 August 1922) was an Ottoman military officer and a leader of the 1908 Young Turk Revolution. By blood and ethnicity he was Albanian and his parents hail from Bitola. Enver Pasha's father Ahmed (1860-1947) was an Albanian born in Monastir (Bitola), so was his Albanian blooded mother Ayse Dilara.
Hitler was a die-hard admirer of Enver Pasha. In his book "Mein Kampf" he wrote that he worshiped Enver Pasha's military strength & bravery and he wanted his future Nazi Soldiers to be molded and trained to be like Enver Pasha.

Albanians in Macedonia began to immigrate more intensively only after the middle of the XVIII century . According to the Ottoman census from 1430 to 1431 , there were no Albanians in Macedonia at all. As early as the middle of the 15th century , with the Islamization of the Albanians, they began to come to Macedonia in small numbers as Turkish soldiers and mercenaries, but in very small numbers. In the Ottoman census from 1452 - 1453 , only 32 Albanian families were recorded on the territory of the whole of Macedonia, namely 31 families in the province of Kalkandelen ( Polog ) and one Catholic family in Skopje .
These Albanians were already largely Islamized and were labeled "Arnauti" or "Arbanassi" by the Ottoman authorities in order to distinguish themselves from the natives. Namely, in the census notebooks, the Ottomans added "Arbanas" or "Arnaut" to the personal names of the Albanians to distinguish them from the natives, for whom there were no adjectives for nationality.
The Ottoman census from 1467 - 1468 records only 84 Albanian households on the territory of the whole of Macedonia in the following vilayets [3] :
      Census 1467-1468:
      Vilayet Kalkandelen ( Polog ) 20 households
      Vilayet Uskup ( Skopje ) 2 households
      Vilayet Pirlepe ( Prilep ) 10 households
      Vilayet Ќiprijuli ( Veles ) 3 households
      Nahija Krchovo ( Kicevo ) 7 households
      Nahija Mariovo 1 household
      Nahija Monastery ( Bitola ) 41 households
The Albanians came to the borders of Macedonia in 1572 . The Frenchman Philippe Canaje described the capture of Kacanik by several, as he personally wrote, "Albanian groups of murderers and robbers" in 1572 . [4] In 1595 , for the first time in history, an Albanian band of robbers was reported to have looted several Polog villages, wounding and killing many villagers. [5]
The first settlement of Albanians in a Macedonian village dates back three years before the beginning of the XVII century and it was in the area of Debar. Under Ottoman document from 1597 , about 10,000 Albanian bandits in northern Albania , robbed and burned 27 villages in western Macedonia , and in six of those villages in Debar area, settled first Macedonian Albanians [6] .
Those ottoman documents are in turkish archives in turkey!
