- Here we go then on the initial leg of a 2 part trip, firstly down to the Rungis International market in Paris where we deliver through the night before heading down to 2 more drops in Gramat & then into part 2 across to Grillon over the next couple of days. After a trailer wash out I reload croissants for the UK, meeting up with a colleague on our journey North. Not quite as far as the beautiful South coast in the thumbnail picture but not far off !

Brings back memories busy place rungis,,
Very mate.
Hi ben another brilliant video buddy was sorry to hear we lost a friend keep them 😂😂vids coming stay safe buddy
Thanks 👍
Like Your channel Paddy from Australia
Cheers Paddy & welcome.
Enjoying your video Ben😍. Been down this area of France a couple or so times, albeit on holidays. The reason the roads are quiet, ie, the motorways is that there are tolls and the French won't pay them when they can drive on the "N" roads, which can be just as fast, and totally free😂
We sometimes use the Nationals & yes they’re generally good. You also come across some of the old “Routier” restaurants that are great.
Great video insight to euro trucking . Very nice fleet of trucks yous have
Thanks Martin, lots more on my Channel & we’re on FB & Insta too 👍🏽
Great insight into Rungis matey and the Donkey and his very nice truck 👌
He’s some boy 🤦🏻♂️🤣. Cheers buddy 👍🏽
That used to be one of my favourite runs when I worked for Whites.
Fabrice at Gramat is one of the nicest persons I’ve ever met,he’s up there with Patrick at Sogemab.
Great video,brings back memories
Haha Patrick is a real legend 😃. Cheers mate.
The first drop is a maze lol
It certainly is mate. Hoping to do a video specifically on Rungis soon. Ta for watching 👍🏽

Loving your videos. I came to your channel just recently and appreciate the issues of an HGV driver a little more now!
Thank you John & welcome aboard 😊
interesting seeing rungis from a different angle. It's usually all cheffie and what great food etc. no wonder we can't buy lamb in the uk its all over there. looking forward to part 2
Hi David, lots is exported but at the moment there’s such a shortage that the price has gone up & the French aren’t buying it 🤷♂️. Thank you for watching 👍🏽
Great job mate 🇦🇺
Cheers Dave 😊
Shauns 560 Left Hand Drive?!?.. hell yeah. Figured that wasn' allowed for UK based trucks
We’ve 2. Shaun’s & a right hooker but lots of LHD on our fleet.
@@The_Breeze1 that's awesome.
Enjoyed your video dude, I'm not into meat, changed my eating habits a while ago. Looking forward to your 2nd part.😀👍
Thanks Peter, part 2 has an unusual start 🤦🏻♂️😃
One of my favourite liveries. Looks great on your FH. Why did the name change from Mortimers though?... if they're the same company of course. I never see Eat More Chips trailers anymore.
Hi Gamer & thanks for looking in. Check us out on FB & Insta as I’m sure there’s Eat More Chips trailers about - they’re certainly still on the fleet. Ta for watching my friend 👍🏽
Good video pal 👍🏻
Many thanks Matt, keep watching for Pr2 very soon 👍🏽
@@The_Breeze1 will do mate I watch all your videos.. stay safe 👍🏻
Nice to watch a local truck for me only living about 15 mins from your depot , drove a lorry for a local egg company for many years but never got the chance to cross the water, did have to go to some weird places thou !! Can you video the bits when you say this might be a bit tight etc on your drops thanks 😊
Hi Adam, take a look at the “Italian job” videos on my Channel. There’s some crazy roads on there. Thanks for joining us 👍🏽
@@The_Breeze1 will do , love watching the video keep um coming , I m not driving the wagons anymore but I must admit sometimes I think about getting back into the cab 😀 not sure I could keep awake anymore thou!!! But I've still got all of my hgv license so never say never.
Nice video, can you please tell me what sav you're using.
Thank you David, it’s a Garmin Dezl & quite good so far 😄
Can you make a video about drivers that want to start doing Europe please? Like how to get started and what to look out for and any tips you might have. Great channel btw
There’s lots of hints & tips in other videos on my Channel mate, such as customs formalities & coupling trailers etc take a look 👍🏽. Thanks for watching too 😊
Is there plenty of work for yous seems to b quite around London n Essex
We’re busy enough for me 😊😂
Really good vid but virtually impossible to hear your commentary when the sat nav kicks in or on a high speed road, perhaps get a better mic at some point 😀
Sorry about that. I have one but forget to use it 🤦🏻♂️😂
Great video. What was that about him requiring you to ‘take the hooks off, please? Thank you.
Hi Derek & thank you 😊. It’s hooks & they’re hung on rails from the roof of the trailers & the carcasses hang on them. You can then slide the hooks back for offloading but on some trailers they then “build up” at the rear doors preventing the next batch going as far down the trailer, which is why you sometimes have to remove them. Good question mate & thanks for looking in 👍🏽
@@The_Breeze1 Thanks for taking time to explain. 👍
Do broughton transport always use the train.
Mostly yes Kevin, it takes us straight into Sivep (see my other video on this) for veterinary checks so is easier than boats. Thanks for watching mate.
@The Breeze cheers fella, as a driver myself I like watching your european work very informative.
Just as a matter of interest, why did Shaun feel the need to overtake and, consequently, block two lanes of motorway for god knows how far ??!!
Wow Bob, it was less than a couple of minutes ! Basically he was travelling faster than my truck (though well within the speed/legal limits) & could make up enough time to grab a coffee at the services & still rejoin me on our trip to the tunnel.
Block 2 lanes???? Well try lane 3 then????
*promosm*
Errmm 🤷♂️👍🏽
The phrase 'South of France' to mean southern France makes no sense because south of France is the country of Spain; therefore the phrase should be 'Southern France', not "South of France"
I’ve got more to worry about than the difference between South & Southern tbh. Thanks for watching though 👍🏽
