Blue grass..roots of much of the Rick and roll..R n B has bluegrass...Scotch Irish and African ...bluegrass was what the poor peasants brought over from famine Ireland and Scotland...💞
Been to see them twice so far and love them and also seeing them next week in Manchester and then a week later in London and met all of them also and pictures as well xx
Geez I love it when he gets to feeling the music...and the band too....and he backs away with lil antics he does...love it when he just cuts loose.....lord I love these guys
The energy they emit is amazing..music on a higher level... Ive tried 3 times to get tickets to see them live and every time the scalpers robbed the fans. :( thanks for sharing this.
great jam! Love the arrangement kinda getting a "Col. Sanders starts a rock band" vibe ngl I've NEVER heard Whiskey in the Jar played like that, absolutely threw me a curveball here folks
Lilac o la day G oh that's the best translation lackoh dadasheehoo sorry most don't know what it actually says since you skipped out a couple times I had to say something it means until tomorrow you guys rock
i love this version, everything this band puts out is great! my only gripe is the video editing. changes shots way too quickly, almost to the point of motion sickness. when it doubt, the 3 second rule is always great for editing concert footage.
kick of ya shoes turn the speakers up pour yaself a long one and dance the night away kinda music be it alone or together..does not matter enjoy life ....it is what it is...
Check out Thin Lizzy one of Irelands greatest rock groups they made this song famous it will be easier to pick up on the lyrics from them,The song is all about Love and Betrayal - pretty standard life stuff really.
I love this band.. I really do but his singing whiskey in the jar sounds a lot like me singing this song when I'm drunk enough to slur my words.... not trying to offend... I think he's an amazing singer.....
This is now my favorite version of this classic song. Nathaniel Raetliff and the Nightsweats are the best. I wish they would record it.
That's big, brassy and, bold. I can hear the history of American R&B, Rock, Blues, R&B....these guys are great.
That sounds like it came from Confederate railroad.
@@simplyhuman3982 it's actually an Irish song.
You forgot blue grass ...and southern
Blue grass..roots of much of the Rick and roll..R n B has bluegrass...Scotch Irish and African ...bluegrass was what the poor peasants brought over from famine Ireland and Scotland...💞
Que cover tan extraordinario, me encanta esta banda, todas sus canciones son realmente excelentes.
It's an Irish traditional song, it's not a cover song.
This just has to be made into a full song and released on an album!

Heart, they have heart. Great group, love the big bands and especially the horns.
After this whole carona lockdown stuff, this is how I'd like to party again
100 %, man, with full force ahead!
The whole world needs about three shots of whiskey and a great band to blow off steam.
Geez I love it when he gets to feeling the music...and the band too....and he backs away with lil antics he does...love it when he just cuts loose.....lord I love these guys

Love these guys. Love this take on a classic. Their gig in the Barras in Glasgow remains one of the most amazing things I've ever been a part of
They have a bit of Chicago and Blood Sweat and tears. Incredible soul!
Not Irish! Australian! Lived in the UK for so many years! Loved Phil, but also love what Nathaniel is trying to do! AWESOME!
It's a 17c Irish folk tune...cork and Kerry mountains.
I love this band!
Amazing performers - great to see live !
Just can't get enough of these guys
I'd love to see a double bill of Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats and JD McPherson. What a show that would be!

Just what I was thinking.
It's hennigan's. The no-smell, no-tell scotch.
@@WolfsterMedia.....Kramer approves of this post.
He sounds like The Boss on the song to me. He sounds like Van Morrison on “Hey Mama” song.
Still a bad cover.
I know right.....I'm a percussionist and GOOD , real music is hard to find anymore. I found the guy's on NCIS NEW ORLEANS.... glad I've got my shows
Had Nathaniel not been so ‘in the bag’, this would have been pure magic,

A fantastic old Irish traditional song that put the amazing band 'The Dubliners' on the charts back in the 1960s. God Bless Ireland!

The Dubliners song...nice version
The song's over 200 years old, friend.
Just because you can do an edit cut every 1.5 seconds doesn't mean you should.
JarOfRats Amen, this damn video kickstarts my vestibular migraines.
So true 😵💫
Gotta love Thin Lizzy.
ohlea gotta love the highwaymen and the captin who sang it in 1967. Although the song is older than that
