You'll take quite a while to describe the intricacies of "Mysticism", simply because the ORIGINAL definition of the term touches on what today is denial of it's main function.
I dont think jesus, if he existed that is, was too happy about being stuckup there on top of any cross. He complained to God in the Garden of Getsemani about having to drink from 'The cup'. Then when on the cross, 'father why have you forsaken me?'. That too when knowing full well that he was god and going to heaven anyway. That the loss of his life would lead to the salvation of millions of souls worldwide as a result of Christian missions. That all that was left for the mission to do would be to convince these pagans that they were just a ragtag bunch of jungali sinners waiting to get saved by becoming christian. They could now get to wear suits and ties and frocks from Mary Quant. They just needed to remove the bones stuck in their noses, ears and hair and those weird penis horns. Sometimes, all the mission needed to do was to remind these pagans of the pain that jesus went through by burning a couple or simply by quartering them alive in front of friends and family. They felt that the very fact that people suffer pain in their own lives as well as seeing it around them everyday as insufficient a reminder. Anyway, we're glad that Simone found some spiritual inspiration, even if it were from looking at a gruesome depiction of a man dying on a cross and that she brought it into her active life. Buddhists just teach and practice mindfulness, regardless. And when they have practiced self immolation to make a sociopolitical point, they didnt fuss or complain about pain to anyone. As atheists, they have no god to complain to as it is anyway.
@natmeyy7590 Well, actually, at the moment, I'm just lying in bed. But earlier, I was watching this guy on RUclips or Facebook attempting some kind of handstand on grass while thinking OMG am I getting a bit old for that, or should I still give it a go.
@natmeyy7590 Hey! Thanks! My stand on this would be, whatever is useful to you and others around you that gives you strength needs to be valued. But what is right for you and gave you strength may well not be right for others. Now, I know Simone was not going around preaching the good news while doing her stuff. It gave her strength. When I want strength, I go to Shri Hanuman, because its more culturally relevant to me. It ties in with my ancestors and my land. All religions are related to some land. Mine is from India, and I draw my inspiration from it. Hope that answers your enquiry.
She worked in three separate factories for the total of 1yr ,1934- 1935 .So hardly a lived experience I suggest she was fully immersed in religion and simply just followed the practices of the unverified Buddha and Jesus myths . She never came up with a unique spiritual experience! This is where her academic path led to ,she never questioned the ridiculousness of religion and didn't seem to come to the conclusion that Religion is the cause of almost all the worlds problems. She happend to find a Christian god no suprises there. I don't know why misinformation covered in academic studies isn't called out at the onset .She's got alot going on already and she decides to throw in mystasim. Spreading her bets 😂

Today you wouldn't hear a peep or squeak from the REAL MYSTICS but they know the origins and reason for today's turmoil.
I thought she was an Olympic gymnast. 🤸🏻♀️
Charles Hawtrey!!!!

The Buddhist and the Hindus all know Christianity is but a childs attempt at understanding within and without.Nobodies being fooled here.
