I recently discovered Tempeh at a local shop, it`s some kind of fermented and processed soja, if I am right. It should be actually quite healthy and nutrious. A good alternative to meat. Any information/experience about that?
Tempe in Indonesia usually taste different than the one in western countries. It's not really fermented, but soy bean with fungal growth. It taste quite neutral. Simple way to cook it is to cut and fry it with batter for fried chicken. Tasty snack.
