Stocked Trout Fishing with CEREAL!! (Does it work?)

- I take you guys with me to go stocked trout fishing with Cereal as bait. Will it work? They recently stocked the local Delaware creeks with trout. Today we are on a mission to find some, and try to catch them! One of the most effective baits for trout fishing is powerbait dough. Cereals, such as Reeses puffs, are very similar to the popular bait. I've also heard of people catching trout on marshmallows. Will lucky charms work? Can you catch fish on cereal!? We head to the creek to test it out!

@Firststatefishing awesome channel as always. Bring sugar packets put them in a sandwich bag. Sprinkle sugar on soft plastic trick worms. Then sprinkle sugar on live nightcrawlers see if fish bite. Just for curiosity sake.

I learned if you want a nightcrawler heavier gently slap live nightcrawlers against the water a couple times. This causes worm to tense up make them alittle heavier. This works great if you want to fish nightcrawler weightless.

Trout love bright colors, so the mini fruit flavored marshmallows are ftw. They 100% work but trout can be picky, good to have multiple baits.
The yellow and black rooster tail is a jack of all trades, my favorite bait to throw

Aight, this might get passed up as a comment but ummm, Cereal no, but this lake i go to in california (san diego) when i was younger we had fishing tourneys and one time this kid ran out of bait and he grabbed a yellow flower (YES A REAL FLOWER) and caught a 4 lbs channel catfish with it.....unreal LOL

I use those eggs to help keep my bait off the bottom. They add just enough buoyancy.
My go to bait is the yellow garlic scented eggs above a pink power bait worm.(home made mouse tail setup.) stocked trout go nuts for it.
