This is the Don't Quit Poem. I have always loved this poem. So many times, people give up on their dreams when they are actually at the verge of success. I hope this inspires and helps you. I know that it has helped me over the years.

This poem was in an old frame that my mom put up when they first built their home with my dad. It never left the wall and was just a frame for me growing up and nothing else. I memorized it mostly because it was always there but not really understanding the message. Last year, I was at my lowest, and someone randomly said "don't quit". A flashback of this poem in an old wooden frame with the picture of a swallow got me back up. Remembering every word and understanding it's message. It turned my life around. I called my mom asking for the framed poem, unfortunately she told me that they lost it when they repainted the whole house. Who would think that something you don't regard as anything with value can be a treasure of the highest value.

He did not write it. Its says unknown. That is because it was written in a contest many mayn years back. This pome wow that competition but all the rights to it where lost to the writer. Believe this or not it was my grandmother. My father has the original. I always have turned to this poem in times I am down. She passed away many years back 94/95. I could use her advice now. I know I can't quit . I want to but I know I can't. All this is true what I am saying and nor do care if I'm am believed or not. Thank you for posting this. I needed to here it again
