Wow! Nice demonstrations! Great video! You are an inspiration to watch. Doing the re-entry under water, before you hop inside, what are you doing with your head in the cockpit? Breathing?
Hello great demo, thank you! What do you thing betwwen S18R G2 vs S18 Expedition G2. I want to use it at marathone races but also on several multiday trips on the sea. Thank you!
Michael, almost always I prefer not to use the rudder when I paddle. For instance, with my Stellar S18 (ruclips.net/video/WAvshMXpAek/видео.html) I almost never use the rudder, it's hull tracks just fine. I find that a tandem kayak loaded heavy needs the rudder most of the time. This kayak, S18R, definitely needs the rudder as it's hull design just will not track or hold a line.
Thanks for the inspiration! You make it look easy.
thank you!
Solid! Boat looks like a torpedo! And gorgeous scenery too! Looks like a perfect day on the water for you!
Thank you Chris! Yes, this is a fun place to paddle, rock climbing in the side canyons, hot springs here and there, great scenery.
You are an inspiration to watch. I have a Boreal design Labrador. My aim the next twelve months is to be able to do the same drills.
Thank you Svein. It is fun to just get out there and work on skills.
Excellent demo and mad skills bruh! Thank You!
Thanks buddy!

Thank you Pete! Yes, under the cockpit, just breathing and rehearsing the moves in my mind.
Those low brace turns are SICK!!! I assume you are working on offside rolls because you keep leading with your head on one side and not the other?

Hey Radu, thank you for your compliment! Let me give you a complete answer on this question over on the Train or Die video where you asked it.
Have you ever try NOT to use the Rudder of the Kayak to paddle ? Whether it's any bad impact for forward stoke ?

wow
thanks!
I’m sure you know this, but when you roll keep your sweep blade on the surface. Burying the blade is a sure fire recipe to fail.
