    Mahomes was at the US Open with Kelce. This is the stupidest argument. I've heard. They're winning with Kelce getting such low catches. And as much as it's true Kelce is Mahomes safety blanket, Kelce isn't going to play beyond another 2 or 3 years. Mahomes needs to be able to lean on other players. And he's shown he can do that. Wait for the playoffs. This is three games in ffs

    Stephen A, stop talking about all the drops from last year, from guys who aren't on the team anymore. Rashee Rice is on pace for over 1000. Worthy is picking up the offense more each week. The ground game is quietly humming (Carson Steele had over 4 yards a clip against Atlanta). And we haven't gotten Hollywood on the field yet. Pacheco won't be back until Thanksgiving. The defense is standing up when they need to. And the team is undefeated. They are fine. Quit using last season's issues as an argument for urgency this season. We're 20 percent of the way through.

    This is why I hate narratives about productivity when it comes to receivers/tight ends. Mahomes has not been playing well and has a bunch of ugly throws in these games so far, and he’s also paying more attention to Worthy and Rice. Travis can’t help but go and run his routes and do his job. It’s a Mahomes/offensive scheme problem, not a Kelce problem but now, as expected, they’re gonna blame his personal life for the “fall off”

    Is Kelce in his prime still? Of course not. But to act like he’s useless is absurd. Just by the way defenses are still prioritizing defending him, Rice and co are getting more space on the field to do damage. The minute they single cover Kelce to have to account more for others Kelce’s numbers will suddenly tick up.

  • @quintenruckman3505
    @quintenruckman3505 Месяц назад +3

    This is one of the worst shows on TV! Two idiots yelling back and forth. The Chiefs HAVE NOT NEEDED him to carry the offense. They’ve run the ball effectively, Rice has emerged as the #1 pass catching option, and the defense is keeping them in every game. Teams are treating Kelce like the offense has nobody else to hurt them. Once teams adjust and start focusing on Rashee it’ll open up Travis and he’ll start feasting. They aren’t forcing him the ball because they aren’t stupid! He was also hurt all last season and played through it. Players always start slow the year they come back from injury especially well into your mid 30s…

    Mahomes does not need a security blanket. He's not a rookie QB having trouble going to his reads.

    Patrick Mahomes:” Travis draws in 2-3 people, so it leaves other guys open.”
    This a Dum question. If Travis wasn’t good he wouldn’t draw in 2-3 guys. The other receivers are solid. And all yall really talking about this. Smh.

    I think Patrick is just rushing passes because he has basically a non-proven LT and a Run-blocking RT protecting him. Once the tackles have more game experience, i'm sure Patrick will be much more willing to allow Kelce to run his routes.

    Idk why we slandering Travis now, He’s been the BEST TE for almost the last decade now, yall can say Gronk too but if it’s one thing Kelce has had over Gronk is durability, Kelce hardly was ever out. Kelce is bound to slow down at some point, plus if they’re winning despite this, KC really has a good chance at 3 peating. And this coming from a Falcons fan

    Who is that guy? Is he the inspiration for Leo Gets, or did he come straight from the 70's?
    Edit: I'm a Chief fan since the early 80's. If he's a Chief hater... I still like him. He's fun to listen to.

    All season long, yes because he's never won a Super Bowl without Kelce being great. This isn't a Brady situation where he's won without Gronk or any star pass catcher. Love Mahomes to death, but he hasn't, so I struggle to say he can when I haven't seen it

    With the failure of Chiefs front office for years to provide Mahomes with a WR core that puts any real fear into defenders, Kelce can be the focus of secondaries who can zone, double and triple team him. Until Chiefs' WR's prove they can get open and force a double team, opponents will continue to focus on Kelce. Utter disgrace to have Toney and Scanting as starters last season.
