If a quake movie was ever born, it should follow how you told the story. A mysterious slow burn, with paranoia and madness flooding its way into our world like water breaking a levy, following up to violent retribution of one sacrificed ranger.
I still think Ranger is more so his title rather than his name, which is why he's called Ranger as not only did he forget his name, but I think he was meant to be an army ranger. Though id using the word Marine to describe him and his fellow soldiers lowkey kinda annoys me
Didnt ID refer to him as "The unknown Soldier" at sone point... Before Q3? I loved that name. As if the quake game was is a myth, and time forgot anything about him, His face and name lost to the ages. All we know about him is that other he entered the slipgates and sacrificed himself to save our world.

I always knew Quake and H.P.L Mythos were happening in the same universe. I thought that from second map of each episode the player is sent to Dreamlands or some dimension akin to Dreamlands.

If Gilman is believed to be a Dark Young, do these entities possess the ability to resurrect in the same manner as the Vadrigar, like Ch'thalha or the Lurking King? Might we witness his return in future storylines? 🤔
@@lechumqc7910 It is considered so but it does not change much if it be real shub because all vadrigars can respawn after they death we don't how they be defeated once and for all and it was possible to make it so that Gilman simply fled in dreamlands where he planned his further actions after he's fails in 1996 year, as pyle also said, but I don't remember the date of this publication in the server, the fur coat is constantly reborn in different forms, about the return in New quake game if they release hard to say they can like in doom retconed all things in newer games but this maybe she will come back.
