I also had to mount my 360 rad higher because it was hitting my motherboards heatsink. now there's a very small gap up top for exhaust and my temps are above 90 degrees at full load.

Hi man, well because I already did a review on the Kraken Z73 and the original thermal paste was removed after the review. I was redoing the build because of the N7 Z490. ;) Nothing wrong with the original thermal paste. :)
@@Ahm789 Not that much since 3 will intake and 4 will create an outtake. It is minimal and not noticable. So far, haven't had issues with that combination.
nice build! Will be somewhat mimicking this build when I get all my parts. You can now also buy perforated front and top panels to help fix the notorious airflow problems with NZXT cases.

my way is to put the radiator in the upper outside of this case and fans mounted below inside of the case and all hooked through that metal plate in between its way much better look and radiator is always clean because its exhaust

You can’t control the RGB on the fans and everything else coming from NZXT unless you connect everything to the Pump or HUE controller and control it through NZXT CAM app.
I made this build but my RGB fans aren’t recognised in cam software but are spinning. I daisy chained them to smart device v2 with case but still not able to control RGB?
bro, can you try to press case’s right bottom corner of the tempered glass to see if it “sinks” in a little bit? I am wondering if I got something wrong with my case...
Most likely you either didn't place the tempered glass as it is supposed sit on those rubber groumets. But there should be at least less than a 1mm of free movement just in case.

Noise is low honestly and the temps are quite alright. Especially with a custom loop or Kraken. At least for the CPU. As for the GPU, temperatures are also very good because the front 3 intake fans give enough air to cool it down.

If u meant to light up. U need the Hue 2, the Hue 2 controls the lighting and can change through CAM software. However, if you have NZXT N7 Motherboards (these have RGB Headers 2 of them), NZXT H710i case (this is Smart Controlled and has Smart Cam V2 inside) then u wont need Hue 2, these are what controls and emits the lighting CPU Fan connectors only powers the CPU fans on, not light the RGB on them. However on the NZXT Kraken, they use 3 x 120mm NZXT RGB Fan and connected those instead of non-RGB fans included and connect the IN-to-OUT connectors to the three leaving one to connect into Hue 2, RGB Connector, or Smart Cam V2 connect.
You can connect up to 40 LEDs lights to one channel. I think each AER RGB 2 fan has 8 of them so you could connect 5. Try connecting them to the controller at the back and if something might be wrong or some LEDs not working, order HUE. But honestly, I think it will work.

this is late, but I have the same case and thinking of doing this exact thing: 3 120mm front intake fans, and 3 top rad exhaust 120mm fans with a 140mm exhaust rear fan. People sa it's bad becaue 3 intakes 2 exhaust is not good, but I wanted to know how your temps are? Currently I'm using an i710700k fast tuned in XMP for 3.6-4.8GHZ. It idles at 38-45 and GPU idles 53/55 (RTX 3060 +175/+900/+5% overclock, fans off idle). CPU under gaming load is around 50-60 degrees, GPU is 65-70 for most games, but few push it to 72-75ish, but this is with fans on around 60%, if I go to 100 then it's always under 70. Are your temps fine with this build? I'm going to be using 3 120mm fans as intakes: Either Noctua NF P12 redux which around 71 CFM at max (1700 RPM), or Lian Li Sl 120 at around 59 CFM at max (1500). Thinking of going with the Lian Li's because I never max my 2 current NF P14S (140mm) 79CFM fans becasue I keep that around 1k rpm which is silent, but more than enough for cooling. What do you think would be best, and would this allow for good airflow? I want top mounted radiator because it's better for GPU temps.

Nice components. Well actuall, you will daisy-chain them and if you buy a three pack from NZXT for the Z73, then you will get a controller inside the box. Then you just connect the controller to your USB2.0 on your motherboard and control the lights through NZXT CAM ;)

It all depends on the quality of the build of the case, which can be clearly seen on and inside this case. I don't get you wrong, I am not a manufacturer... :) But I would say that it is worth it if you are going for a high-end build. If it is a mid-range build that you are doing, then this case is expensive and there is no point to buy this case for it. Better then invest in some better components. ;)

And yes I'm going to be using brute force to keep my lovelys nice and cool. This will be my 3rd time upgrading my rig and the 3rd case. After two cases and a lot of looking online I decided on this baby. Changing my motherboard from ASUS tuff Z390 to an Aorus Z390 Ultra, and decided to eliminate my corsair LL120 rgbs, they have become a bit of an overkill on the rgb lighting. Case wise it's worth every penny.

On front of the case you have 3x 120mm non-RGB fans. On top 3x 120 AER RGB 2 fans and at the rear 1x 140mm AER RGB 2 fan.

Three 120 are on the top part of the case attached to the rad and 1x 140mm is at the rear. ;)

Well since we are talking about a case that can fit 2x 360mm rads, I would go with X73 without a doubt and place it on top.

How did you put the AIO on top? I bought the same case and AIO, and there’s no way to screw the AIO in?

yes the display can be reoriented any direction
Did you use the hue controller if so is there a difference not using it is the rgb contrallable all the same using NZXT CAM?
