  • Thank you so much for watching, friends. I know this video is ultimately very rambling and off-the-cuff, but it felt good to get it off my chest! I am thrilled to be diagnosed and get my life back, but it isn't exactly a fully rosy picture. I'd love to know if anyone can relate!

Thank you so much for this video. I have been dealing with Addison’s for a couple of years now and am going through the exact same things you discussed at the end of your video. Self esteem is in the toilet. My face is puffy. I’m just exhausted and I feel stupid to worry about that when the steroids are what keeps us alive yet I still feel all of those feelings that you discussed.

Oh god, this message has made me feel so much better - especially as I'm currently struggling with my appearance and recognising my own face! It feels like something we're not meant to say out loud about the steroids, like we're meant to be fully grateful only, but that feels so difficult!
