Clever way of mudding the floor. Haven't had a chance to watch your videos as much as I like but boy looks like the kids are growing up pretty fast.
They are!
Smart on them already doing the pre-slope for you, looks good man 💯
Thanks for watching! Part 2 is up!
That's a great system well thought out and executed the tiles are beautiful Emily has great taste
Thank you, appreciate it!
It's always a nice day when you upload
Thanks for watching!
Looks great. Not sure about running wires in a bay with the shower valves.
Looking forward to the next video! Good job as always Paul!
Thanks for following along!
DAMN, YOU DO GOOD WORK‼️‼️ VERY IMPRESSIVE ‼️ ‼️. Vinny 🇺🇸
Thank you!
Looks amazing! Great work Paul!
Thank you!
Amazing job❤️🔥
Thank you!
In my shower I used Kohler products. From the shower valve I just went up to the shower head, But there I installed a Kohler Hydrorail. With that is a diverter and a hand held shower that slides up and down on the Hydrorail. The only difference is that you can't have both on at once. The shower head comes off the top of the Hydrorail. I really like the system.
Awesome, thanks for sharing!
A couple things for your next shower build- don’t put the backer board on until after your pan is poured. When the backer board is in the pan, it can leach water up to the studs.
Thanks for the tip... actually hoping to not do very many more showers in our time haha
@@MrPostFrame sorry I probably sounded like a know it all. I actually love building showers.
for the size of your shower, those ply strips were pretty good. if your shower is smaller, you can just set a height ledge around the perimeter and screed from the shower drain to the perimeter ledge.
Thanks for the feedback!
Great workmanship, but seeing the finished product in the background I gotta point out- step 1 of building a pimp custom shower- make sure the actual size corresponds to tile selection so you don’t have an extra 2” to fill with ugly tiny pieces of tile. I do see how you do tip top work though- so I give some benefit of the doubt that there could be circumstances or even sometimes these little details in advance get missed by the best of us too :)
Totally, it was one of those cases where the framing took place two years ago and the tile selection happened two months ago lol
@@MrPostFrame it’s the way she goes. Still looks great regardless. You’re a very skilled dude- much respect
Should there be any concern that you have your water lines running next to two electrical outlets? What if you should have a leak?
Did you look into a schluter system great waterproofing system. Wheres the crocs you cant do that work without the crocs
Yes, but opted for what we've worked with before. LOL don't worry you won't be missing the signature footwear for long
All the prep work and detail always goes unseen, behind the tile. Great attention to detail.
Thanks for pointing out to use pipe instead of pex from diverter valve to the shower head. If pex is used instead of copper or pipe, the shower head will pulse due to lack of flow. Pex is measured on the OD, copper and pipe measured on the ID. Not that I've made that mistake before.
@Nicholas : If you use Pex A with expansion fittings it's just fine. It's the Pex B that could cause the problem.
where did you buy the shower faucet in this video? I cannot find it anywhere.
All the details for the shower are in this blog post - mrpostframe.com/mcb-primary-suite-shower/
@@MrPostFrame Thank You very much for your reply. "Just in the nick of time!
What the hell is with that washer box rough in?
red guard on the walls, is semi ok. but on the floor, i would not trust it. check out Tile Coach channel for videos on why.
Thanks for the feedback!
I think it was wise you bought your materials 8 months ago... give the prices today.
Yes, we got lucky with a few things
I clicked the like button even though the music is awful.
LOL thank you
.
You Tube won't let me watch you on my TV, because I won't buy their newest you tube. So now you lost a subscriber and how many more will you loose?
That's odd... i don't know what's up with that. We haven't had any issues watching unpaid RUclips
Back on my TV. Phone to small to watch. Your a good guy. Your the only one that explains everything, and shows how it's done Your way. Like it.
