The Rimmel wake me up foundation is really good, it’s not a B.B. cream but it feels like one when you put it on, it’s also got really light coverage and it’s what I use for school x
I’ve seen dry skinned youtubers try this foundation and it’s super patchy on them! I don’t think it sits well on dry skin or patches! Nice to see it on oily skin! An improvement! Love you Sophhhhh ❤️❤️❤️

Here I can see what I also experience - like dry patches around my nose and stuff. The only thing is - girl, you can always work it, even if the foundation is bad, you slay with the rest. :3
The BEST primer for oily skin is the Urban Decay 'De-Slick' Primer. It's very dry when you apply it but the shine control is insane and I find it helps my foundation stay on so much longer. I tested the Maybelline Superstay foundation with and without the primer and the difference was INSANE. It's kind of pricey for a primer and the application is odd but it 100% does the job.
Instead of a primer, I use a "shine controlling" jelly moisturiser. I use the tea tree and witch hazel one with berry extracts from Boots (I have combo/oily skin). I find it does a better job of keeping my makeup on and it has that tacky feel after applied that primers usually have but I don't know if that actually impacts anything as I like to wait for it to fully sink in before I go near foundation. Hope this helps x
I’m very oily, and the revlon photoready pore reducing primer is AMAZING! I notice literally the hugest difference when I don’t wear it. It really helps reduce the size of my pores, and it helps my makeup stay on for like 12+ hours while getting very minimal oil in between touch ups. Idk if it’s available in the UK, but you should definitely try it out if you’re able!

Beccas mattifying primer hun! I got oily skin and never really had a primer really work but this bad boy helps ! Just gotta moisturize a lot! However it does stop oils from showing.

The bourjois matte primer is really good for oily skin (not the best on dry spots) and the soap and glory one heck of a blot primer is also really good.

Best friend endorsed Becca Evermatte Poreless Primer and she's super oily (just ordered it too). If I can find a color match in LA Girl, I will order it. I’ve told you gal, the touch of sol no poreblem primer, it’s on cult beauty, it’s amazing, I didn’t believe in primers before and that keeps my make up on so so well, also another one is the L’Oreal infallible primer, that works, and for smile lines if they bother you, if you pack loads of loose powder on them (probably an extreme version of backing) with a small brush ( I use the real techniques deluxe crease brush because it’s dense) and press a fair amount in, so much it looks like flour sat on your face!, leave it 5 mins then dust it away, it will help, mine are the same😭💙
Hello Soph, i have combination skin, and since i tried the Fenty Beauty primer, oh my god my skin looks really good and my makeup lasts until the end of the day. First i use my Makeup For Ever Mist and fix, let it dry, apply my Fenty primer, again a touch of Mist and fix, and my foundation. It took me a while to find what really worrks for me but now i'm fine. I also use the white Fenty powder, and i can tell you that my make up is locked for the day ;-)
Catrice has an amazing primer I think it's called prime and fine. It's not a typical silicone base primer but a water base one. I have extremely oily skin and even foundations that last me about 2-3 hours before they start to separate or get oily, with it I can wear them for 5 hours before touch up with powder.
I have never bought in to the whole primer thing however, recently I found my favorite foundation but it just didn't last quite as long as I wanted without getting a bit oily so, I gave Wet n Wild's matte primer a try and it's been a game changer for me.
The MUA Skin Define Matte Perfect Primer (such a long name) is great for oily skin! I have the same skin type as you and it prolongs the wear of my foundation and helps to not seperate or get cakey throughout the day :)

I used to use No7 beautifully matte primer when I was having issues with oil and it really helped stop the oil coming through so my make-up lasted, but its been discontinued! I've also not really found a primer since that helps makeup last.
Apparently the YSL all hours primer is amazing for oily skin, Holly Boon uses it and she also struggles to find something that helps with the longevity of her makeup xx
I feel like my skin used to be oilier than it is now. I wanted to love this foundation, but I got the lightest shade thinking since they didn’t have a lot, it would be good for me, but it was way too light. And I feel like it really settled into my pores and transferred to easily even with different primers. I love the maybelline super stay 24 hour more.
I have tried this foundation but I found that the second and third shade are abit darker or different undertones to the fourth shade (natural). Natural is the one I use and it is a very neutral undertone and should give you the perfect color match I think 😍

Try Glycerin and rose water for your primer. I live in a hot place and my makeup stays on all day

The Loreal matte lock primer works great on my oily skin. It keeps me matte and keeps my makeup looking fresh.😁
Try the Maxfactor Facefinity Primer! It keeps the makeup on my oily face alllll day! And the foundation doesn‘t even break up on my face :)

the j.one jelly pack primer is amazing! it's really sticky and i think it holds my makeup for a long time - my skin is also very oily!

The ordinary foundation was so oily on me too, but looks amazing used as a mixer! Been using it with maybelline superstay and it works so well!
