Orange state one was a really beautiful prayer. , well written. seems like Boer took their faith seriously, all of them have God in the center of the anthem.

God is important to an Afrikaner. The AWB, a far right organisation that wants the Boererepublieke to return, has as symbol three sevens in a circle. These sevens stand for God, People and Fatherland.

I just read the description and you literally say you “don’t agree with countries founded by Whites”😂. Which means you don’t agree with any western country.
Also, the only country to have ever had Apartheid was South Africa, and I can’t see how anyone can disagree with a policy that literally says “we refuse to insist that you are governed and oppressed by us, govern yourself, here is land that we won from the british with our blood, we give it to you freely”. Because THAT is what Apartheid was in South Africa.

It was named after the Oranjerivier which was named in the honour of the Prince of Orange and the House of Orange-Nassau. King William III of Orange-Nassau designed the first version of the flag, but the government of the Oranje Vrijstaat decided to swap the white and orange stripes.

once you have learned of mugabe policies it is doesnt soud weak but...
sad...depressing....malinconic......you cry when you hear it......
and if that words are sayed by a mugabe fan like myself this must be true

    • @Sir_TophamHatt

Bro do you have any idea how many old european states had anthems to the same tune as englands’ “g-d save the king”? Some tunes just make good anthems, doesn’t say anything about national identity unless you’re coming in trying to prove preconceived notions (confirmation bias).

@@Sir_TophamHatt well, maybe the answer you're searching is: the British Empire was the bigest super power, today everybody try to copy the model of the US, but between the XVIII and XIXI centuries they try to copy the United Kingdom. Another reason is that, except for France, every country in europe used the monarchy system, and the symbol of monarchy is... again, the UK. Maybe this is the answer you're searching.
If it is not, every comment is welcome.
