This guy is good, damned good. Sam Cooke also had the benefit and advantage of a first class recording studio with an experienced, professional recording engineer. This guy is using poor mp3 quality in his recording. Bring this guy into a top recording studio with a professional engineer and a few weeks to work, and I'll bet he'll sound even better.
@@guyfroml yes,he's a lovely singer,really good. Sam could destroy audiences with just his voice. Ben E. King has said it was an amazing thing to see,Sam sitting on a stool,never moving off of it and bring a full house down to its knees!!with just his voice. He said it was pure magic!!!
@@guyfroml Yup, you're right but you should see tapes of Sam Cooke's live performances nothing really different from studio recorded vocals. You see, during the 50s and 60s studio technologies aren't as advanced as today which is very obvious especially on vinyl tapes that aren't entirely clean just like singing on an earphone mic.

The quality of his recording equipment and this website audio is terrible. Get him in a professional studio to do a quality recording, then see how similar he is. I'll bet he'd come real close.

This guy can sing but he is no Sam Cooke. He doesn' t have the vocal range or the sweetness in his voice. Only Sam Cooke sounds like Sam Cooke.
