Since 2009. Every thing in the intro is things I found. It is missing about 10 or so rings that I gave my wife and kids. I started filming in April of 2023 and everything I have found since is obviously not in it. Tye really funny thing about that is that many of the people I hunt with and are in my metal detecing club find a lot more and expensive gold and silver then I do. I have never sold anything. A few returns but never sold.
Nice hunt mike! I actually live on the treasure coast and you are 100% right about those cuts. I have found 2 spanish silver coins by hunting them. Next hurricane I'll be hunting them again for sure
You are my hero. One of the guys that I look up to and help me learn a lot of what I know moved to Cape Canaveral during Covid. He still hasn’t gotten any old Spanish treasure but he has gotten a lot of great stuff out there. Some day I would love to hit Vero beach after a hurricane. Curious as to what sensitivity you are using with that 15” coil in the rushing surf. Also are you in beach 1 or 2? I get lots of chatter in the moving water with the big coil. Thanks Mike
Hi Doug, I run about 14-15 sensitivity if sand is black. I go back up if there’s not a ton of black. I don’t normally like to run the 15” coil in the actual splashing water as it seems to have a bit of drag and it does seem to pick up the some air pockets it the white water as i definitely get some chatter and some grunting. That being said, it seems to hit targets when they are under the coil. I really really appreciate your support. ❤🏴☠️🙂🏴☠️🙂
Thanks Bill. Yes, I have been partially buried by one once. I was able to get loose but covered my legs and I lost the target I was digging under it. I have also fallen waist deep in a giant while that had been dug and had filled with soft wet sand. Kinda like quick sand. I had to throw my detector and scoop as far as I could get it to dryer ground. It look me a couple minutes to pull myself out and water was splashing all around. Again. Not smart. Dumb PM. 😮❤🏴☠️🙂🏴☠️🙂🏴☠️

The shoes I’m currently wearing do not have great support. I do like them as they are flexible and easy to rinse off. That being said, I sometimes use Seavengers. They have different styles. They have great support. Here is a link. a.co/d/3wJ1i3n

I know I love my Stealth 920ix but it is heavy. My last few hunts been with the Extreme sand shredder but I lose more targets with it not being able to move the same amount of sand. Heck of a awesome cut you guys had congrats on the gold 👍🦀
I have normally used the stealth scoops for almost all my hunting. I use the 920ix hybrid for in water and waves and tye 720ix hybrid on the slope and dry. They are so heavy and I have some shoulder issues. I needed to find a lighter scoop and started using the CKG titanium scoop. It has really helped with my shoulder but I definitely have to take more scoops on the slope and often loose targets in water and waves. Im trying to get comfortable with that size scoop. I do run my detector on the face normally but was super hairy tight to the cut as you can see. But in short, yes. I have found good stuff in the face. ❤🏴☠️🙂🏴☠️🙂🏴☠️

The waves and wind do drowned out my voice and on my end it’s hard to hear targets. I mostly use a Minelab Equinox 900. Target range is from negatives - to 100. Trust me. Jim says it every day. I use my big fat body to hold me against getting taken down. It has work all but 3 times out of a few thousand but those 3 times were definitely not good. Don’t do what I do as I’m a bit daft. 🏴☠️🙂
