  • I share my journey to recovery from estrogen dominance and histamine intolerance. As a young woman in my 20s dealing with 'unexplained' eczema and psoriasis since the age of 5, I have experienced confusion and burning pain, both physical and emotional. But here in this video, I finally see a hopeful way forward.

    That sucks Polly, I've got a insurable illness and honestly. I can relate to that feeling of just wanting to shout for help from the people that have been educated to help you. Of course I understand they have to find out what the issue is but when you living with something every day and you hear nothing from doctors. it's herd to not let the fear and frustration take over.
    Keep on doing what you are, as best as you can. I do self educated and with that and a newly qualified g.p we got there in time.
    I can't say it's for the better because mines insurable but at least something was happening and at least there's knowledge.
    Now I live everyday with it, taking Morphin quite often, so I relate to that need to work around your supplements.
    Have you looked into a vegan, keto and starch diet helps estigon.
    Just to tell you, you are doing the best you can and that's enough! A day at a time. 🥰🥰

      Thanks so much for sharing, I know I'm not alone in this struggle.
      We have taken it upon ourselves to educate ourselves fully as relying on the NHS doctors is going to get me seriously sick. I have had more referrals in the last 2 years than ever and still no one thinks the different symptoms are related. It has been quite frustrating reading my body and none of the qualified professionals caring (the ones that I met anyway)
      Knowledge has been the only way we have found stability and there is a chance to reverse what has begun in my body so hopefully we can cure it.
      I'm looking in anti inflammatory diets and variety to grow my gut microbiome... so I'm increasing my plant intake.
      Your situation sounds so tough, and to have to take morphine daily, I can't imagine.
      In my research, I read that endorphins are actually derived from morphine so any activity that increases endorphins naturally may help you. 🥰🥰

    Hello friends, I'm terribly sorry to hear this. It sounds like you have been on a long journey. Have you watched Mikhaila Peterson's unreleased TED talk? She walks through her health journey and diet. If you haven't watched this, please consider that the universe wants to tell you about Jordan Peterson's daughter and her health journey. Take what you think is relevant and throw out the rest, you know your body best. I sincerely wish you both greater mental and physical health in the coming months.

      This particular issue has been going on for only 2 years (although I have a history of 'eczema' since I hit puberty... hormones). We have traced my behaviour and timeline in the past 2 years and there are a combination of factors that led to this but we think I bugged my methylation cycle at the same time as gaining weight and depleting my b12 and b6 stores. By the looks of it we think all that has led to histamine intolerance and oestrogen dominance. Now it's an active battle in balancing and optimazing my body to clear all this out...
      Lucky it's not the cats 😻

    Sad times. Do you take anti-histamines? I suffered with a problem for over a year like an idiot before I eventually realised I could just simply take anti-histamines, which sorted out any 'flare-ups' instantly...

    • @FreedomStrider
      @FreedomStrider  6 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, I was having more and more histamines but they were ineffective on the skin issue. Also, anti histamines interfere with the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach which makes our digestion poor... It's a whole tangle, we are actively trying to detox my body by getting my gut and liver to work optimally... We think I'm actually dealing with histamine intolerance and oestrogen dominance... which is like walking on a thin wire over a canyon 😅

    That sucks about your hands, you know carbs are poison right? The meal was almost perfect, just chicken and broccoli is the right meal. My friend used to have all sorts of problems with rashes, weight, painful joints ect. As soon as you cut out all carbs your body Will mend. Specifically eating only chicken and broccoli for every meal you will feel like superman in no time. Jordon Peterson did it too you should hear what he has to say about it

    • @FreedomStrider
      @FreedomStrider  6 месяцев назад +1

      We've both watched alot of health talks from various people, I think variety is the key. Its true we ate the same cards over and over (white refined flkur carbs). Mixing it up with other more natural grains/cards along with alot more vegetables (fiber) and variety has helped...but it is all a slow process. Its a good thing we both love broccoli 🥦 😀
