Will also go to my grave thinking there should've been more Sugaree openers across the board between Dead and JGB.... way too underutilized in the lead-off spot... when played at the right tempo like this... should've been opened with a LOT MORE
An apocryphal story I've heard: Someone was walking past the small backstage parking lot at Keystone Berkeley and saw Jerry getting out of his BMW. "Yikes, Jerry! You're supposed to be at Keystone Palo Alto!"...gets back in the car...
I'm sure I was there...the set list looks very familiar and I went to a lot of Jerry shows at the Keystone PA. UPDATE: Yes I was there..after looking up the date I see the Bill Belcher band opened and I remember that it was the only show I saw that Jerry had an opener and I remember I raelly liked the opening act
