You should be checking on the babies everyday, several times a day so this does not happen again. Birds breathe through their beaks and this poor baby could hardly breathe due to the build up. NEVER let this happen again or stop taking care of animals

Hence the build up of the food. That happens sometimes if the mother missed on feeding it's chicks through it's beak. And no, if you assume that I put that food in it's beak on purpose. First off, why would I do that? I'm not doing this for views. I'm just showing on how to remove it properly. Without harming the chick. I have been taking care of them for a year now. And I'm just showing their progress.

It's not advisable to do that..it's more riskier. If you have watched the whole video. It was successfully removed. By using a wet Q tip to moist and soften the hardened bird food. The bird is currently okay now. So don't worry
