theon wouldn't have been able to save yara even if he tried. they would've both been killed, and he was having a ptsd flashback. you can't really get mad at him for fleeing
Euron had a blade to Yara and Theon was 30-feet across the deck. The second Theon took a step in his direction, Euron would have gutted her. And even Theon in his prime was no match for Euron in single combat.
A lot of people talk shit about Theon but I personally thought he did a smart thing intentionally or not. No way he could have kill Euron and like 30 of his men right there to save his sister. Also Reek PTSD kicked in or something, this kind of psychological trauma do not go away so easily
Exactly. The way they shot it makes it look like he fails and people just look at that without thinking about the situation. Yeah he feels like a failure, this isn't the Ironborn way, but he did the right thing anyway.
It is still better than being killed right there and now along with her brother who got baited. I also doubt they would do something bad to her since the show is getting progressively softer when it comes to "goodies".
I so agree. The choice was attack now and die (he was completely outnumbered) or flee and get a chance for revenge. I was screaming at my TV for him to jump lol. There is no way he could have saved his sister. By the time he reaches Euron he could have already cut her throat. Besides, it's obvious Theon was having some PTSD attack.
i know how some ppl were so frustrated or even angry at theon because it seems he didn't even attempt to try and save yara, but in all honesty, what can he really do? charge at euron with the possibility of getting both of them killed? also, u can literally see theon turned into reek and his ptsd got triggered, in that sense, i guess theon did the right thing because him staying alive means he can rescue yara later, even if none of them (even theon himself) thought he did. yara felt betrayed but she never really understood theon's ptsd and that he got broken by ramsey, she thinks theon was weak and cowardly.
+Daniel Canngieter True, but people criticised Jon for running after Rickon as well, I guess there is no right decision in such a scenario. Also, Theon went through prolonged torture for years, Ramsey broke him both physically and psychologically. I believe that is far worse than a death within few minutes.
but you cant really compare theon to jon tho, they are two DIFFERENT people with completely DIFFERENT characteristics and personality, jon acted the way he was because thats just how jon is as a person, hes alot like ned in a sense of putting honour above all else, and be just and forgiving, however, theon is not jon. saying this doesnt deny the fact that what jon went through wasnt traumatising, but ppl deal with traumas differently.
Staying alive, is important, people don't know what PTSD looks like, this was Theon's version. He was fine, until, he saw men being mutilated, and it hit him.
This is a completely different dynamic. The guides on this channel are now in just as much awe and wonder as hogwarts. Im liking this. Season 8! Can't wait. Hype. Is. Real.
Doing the "brave" thing gets her throat cut. I completely understand Theon feeling like a coward afterwards, and within the culture there are going to be people who think him a coward, but living to fight another day is the most pragmatic solution. The only other "noble" choice their is to make sure your sister dies quickly and that you make them kill you quickly as well. That would save her from the probable torture she would enjoy at Euron's hands, but that's a choice you only make when all hope has gone. Theon's always been a dreamer. His hope has exceeded reason, it makes sense for him to run. Reek had lost hope and was ready to die to protect Sansa.
As crappy as the Sand Snakes were, having them be the major casualties of this sea battle was genius. The fight choreography was loads better than the last time we saw them fight. Seeing Nym's reaction to Obara's death was strangely heartbreaking, and the sisters fighting Euron and protecting their mother was a great plot line within this battle. Adding the fact that they were killed by their own weapons of choice, just adds another dynamic layer to this vastly underrated scene. Loved it.
I have come to the conclusion that "Hot pie" is behind all the destruction and chaos that we have seen this season. If he hadn't told Arya that Jon was King in the North, Arya wouldn't have returned to Winterfell. Cersei would have been long dead and Jon wouldn't have needed to go catch a Wight and Daenerys wouldn't have lost one of her dragons trying to save him and the Night King wouldn't have destroyed the Wall with the reanimated Viserion and everyone would have united to fight the Night King. Just saying ..,
Arya and Ned in season one - 'you're going to be a pretty pink princess and have so many kids your head will spin' 'that's not me' *Arya goes back to training* Arya and Nymeria in season seven - 'bruh let's go home, netflix n chill bruh, everybody is there it'll be great' ... *moment of realization* 'that's not you' *Nymeria goes back with her wolf pack*
Best thing he could do is flee. Attacking Euron would have got Yara's throat cut and then probably himself killed. This way he could flee and let Dany and Co. know what happened and mount an actual rescue plan.
+Mikey B Sure, thing is that wasn't the reason he did. It was cowardice. I guess an argument could be made that it was PTSD rather than being a coward but still, he didn't make that choice after carefully analyzing the situation, he just lost it and jumped.
+RagnarTheRed Of course. But most people seem to be blinded when objectively judging what was the smartest decision to make. What Theon did was the smartest thing to do, whatever his intentions were or whether his actions were deliberate (which they obviously were not as you and many others have pointed out). I, a sane person, would still have acted the way Theon did: cowardly and alive (both me and Yara) instead of brave and dead.
@ Ragnar : Theon was battling normally; he was even in attack mode towards Euron; until he saw men getting their ears or tongues taken out, it was at that point his face went ashen white, shaking, that fight or flight took over. Until that scene Theon was ready to attack Euron, those scene pushed Theon back inside Ramsey's hell.
Well, she let him be king of the North while she should have been queen of the North in the first place... Weird no one even mentioned that possibility? At the very least she should have been queen, then officially declared him a Stark and then hand over the role willingly (if she wanted). He was a bastard and a former nightwatch, and even if all the lords liked him and were misogynistic enough to pass Sansa, it's not a democratic thing to elect a king!
I’m glad Hogwarts is still the focus of s7. The channel is called Hogwarts Reacts after all. Her reactions are the best! I still love the whole crew though!
I loved that Nymeria scene. The whole point of "That's not you" isn't that it was some other dire wolf, its that going north and living in a castle with Arya is not who Nymeria is. The same as when Ned told Arya she would be a lady and have sons who would be lords and she replied... "That's not me." Also Arya parted ways with Nymeria in an episode 2 and reunites in an episode 2. edit: LOL I hadn't listened to the whole video yet when I posted this, I didn't know they actually confirmed this theory...even better!
I hate people that think too much and say Theon made a smart decision there on his own. His facial expressions were clearly him being overwhelmed by the moment and defaulting back to his broken side. He didn't jump because he properly assessed the situation and calculated his move, he jumped because he paniced and turned into Reek. The show showed that in a very simple and straight forward manner.
- My Guess of What Nymeria Would Be Saying In That Reunion Scene Arya: "Nymeria, it's me; Arya!" Nymeria: (Oh yeah, the one that threw a rock at me when I was a pup.) Arya: "I'm heading north, girl." Nymeria: (And...why? Did you find more direwolf pups to pelt with pebbles?) Arya: "Back to Winterfell. I'm going home...come with me." Nymeria: (Look Arya/Arry/Lanna/No One/A Girl/ Ashildr/Me/whatever the hell they're calling your cherubic-faced ass now: You.threw.a.ROCK.at.me! How would you have felt if Lord Stark had tossed a loose Winterfell brick at your head when you were 3 human years old? Pretty traumatized, I would think; probably would come to detest him. Well, now you know what it's like to walk in my paws) Arya: "Come with me." Nymeria: (Oooh, you're lucky my crew and I took down a few big bucks for lunch an hour ago; otherwise there would just be a plucky little half-skeleton in this forest in no time. Come on, my children; let's go. There's a massacred village west of here we can hit for dinner tonight.) [the wolves trot off] Arya: "That's not you." Nymeria, in the distance: (Oh for fuck's sake...PISS OFF!!!)
Brian, after 7 seasons and after having been spoiled (at least) the complete season 6 ... you still are watching trailers? Haven't you learned anything after all this time? You still think there will be a happy end? You clearly haven't payed any attention. Hehe, loved the reaction. Thanks for all the effort!
Mel*of*Winterfell I did too, but felt it took something from the show. I'm a book reader so I had a pretty good idea where everything was going. But, for some reason, knowing the spoilers for season 7 really seemed to decrease the significance of the episodes for me. I'm not even going to watch the trailers for season 8. I wanna go in completely blind :)
I don't mind spoilers, and most of the ones this year, were short on context, I didn't care for far north but Winterfell worked for me, especially if we follow nuggets all the way back to season 1.
7:17 - I like how Theon jumping overboard produced audible gasps in the room. (Several years ago I saw a screening of The Godfather in a theater and the last scene [spoilers ahead], when Kay asks Michael if it's true that he killed Connie's husband and Michael looks her right in the eye and say , "no." let me tell you people GASPED. It was really cool because I had seen the movie several times but only at home with a few friends, never in a theater full of people who hadn't seen it before. And now, here we are, with RUclips reactions! What a world we live in.)
wow thank you so much for keeping this up i look to this every day it comes out so thank you so much. also i would just like to say that review was cool and so Hogwarts ( at less with how we know her here.)
“That’s not you” was a callback to season one when Ned was sitting on the stairs with her, talking about how one day she would marry a lord and be a lady and all that comes with it, and her response was “that’s not me”. She didn’t want to be a tamed women like the rest of the ladies in Westeros, she wanted to be free to be who she wanted to be. The significance of her saying it to Nymeria is that Nymeria started the series out domesticated and tamed, and ended up becoming the free spirit that Arya always wanted to be herself, so asking her to come back to winterfell with her isn’t who Nymeria is anymore...just like herself, which is why she smiled as the wolf walked away.
People hate on the recent seasons but honestly I feel like it's just GoT hipster syndrome. I've enjoyed every single season just as much as the rest so far. Literally the only thing I didn't enjoy was Aryas storyline in Bravos.
Love watching ALL of you now seeing it together. Sucks that we have to wait til 2019 for season 08. You guys are fond of pointing out little details of each episode. This particular episode had a LOT of throw backs to Ned. I heard one of you mention the Nymeria scene when Arya says, "That's not you," referencing back to a conversation she had with Ned in Season 1. But one other scene I didn't hear you mention - and I'm sure you have since it aired - when Jon puts Little Finger up against the wall by his throat, that scene references back to Season 1 when Ned did it to him. You'll notice, as Jon walks away, the statue of Ned in the background as LF is rubbing his neck. I miss Ned.
Thanks, I really enjoyed that! I would like to see more of a mixture of tight shots on Hogwarts and wider shots so we can all see Brian and the other team members reactions too!
Ramsey is Joffrey after years of going unchecked. Euron is Ramsey after even more years of going unchecked. From Joffrey to Ramsey to Euron, each one is a little older and little more psychotic. Not surprising that Euron and the sounds of the battle caused Theon to have a flashback to Ramsey and his 'training' as Reek. Can't wait to see the reactions to Theon pulling himself back together at the end of the season.
I agree that tactically, Theon jumping overboard was the best thing he could've done, as it ensured that himself and Yara would live. The issue is that he abandoned and betrayed his only sister by leaving her in the hands of their sadistic, psychotic uncle who is capable of anything. She tried to save him at the Dreadfort, lost the fight and many of her men because of Theon's subservience to Ramsay. Once he returned to her in season 6, he came to redeem himself and support her as the rightful Queen of the Iron Islands. His love for his sister should be stronger than his PTSD. The World of ASOIAF is all about honour. Even if he tried to save her and they both died, at least he would have been an honourable death for him. If they ever meet again, she won't be able to trust him ever again.
When u went wide shot I was like "oohhh yeah there is everyone. Oh my god Sleepy Hannah your hair! So beautiful!!" Also Jeremy was right what could Theon have done?
Everybody gets on Theon's case for running away instead of dying trying to save Yara, forgetting of course that Yara did the EXACT same thing in Season 2 when she went to try and rescue him from Ramsey. Did she go out like a boss and die trying to save him then? Of course not, she ran, .... ....because it was the most practical thing to do at that point rather than dying for nothing. Except in her case she actually gave up on him and said he was dead, (When he wasn't), while he would have had every (justifiable)reason to think that she was for all intents and purposes, actually dead (or soon to be)......at the hands of the guy who just killed their father.
It was the right call for Theon. I know we all wanted to see him come back and be a badass again, but he was outmatched and outnumbered. If he'd tried to fight, both he and Yara would have died. Jumping was cowardly, but at least Yara lives as a captive, and Theon is able to return to Dragonstone with word of what happened.
The Northerners don't like Tyrion because he's a Lannister and they don't trust them. Only Jon trust Tyrion, Sansa is still kind of iffy towards him and rightfully so. He could have been horrible but his family still tore her family apart. So that would be why the Northerners weren't excited about Tyrion's letter.
George R.R. Martin "You don't create a huge wolf pack unless you plan to use it." D&D didn't get the memo apparently. Also Arya is a warg so Nymeria would not only know her but would definitely go with her if she wanted her to.
@Gevorg1989 Oh, I see what you are saying. I guess I just found the whole scene where Arya and Nymeria came face to face unnecessary if all Nymeria was going to do was walk away. Even in the show the Stark direwolves were fiercely protective of the Stark children so I guess I just assumed a "warg like" connection even though it wasn't explicitly shown. You are right of course. If I had never read the books I wouldn't know about the other Stark kids having wolf dreams. I loved the show and I love the books. I just wish they had streched the show over more seasons in order to incorporate more of George's details. I also wish George woild finish the damn books! But, c'est la vie.
The Arya/Nymeria scene is one of my favorite from the whole season. In showbiz they say never act with kids or animals...what about both?? (And that wolf/dog is one heck of an actress to convey so much emotion...)
I hope Hannah was joking when she mentioned Sansa wants Jon to leave; there was no joy in Sansa's face in that scene. Despite what she says about Jon trying to protect her, deep down she's comforted knowing he's there. Only Brienne and LF had smiles. Brienne because she knows what and why Jon put Sansa in charge. LF for his own personal reasons. As much as I like GW and Messandi, I rather you didn't cut out the Jon, Sansa and Davos scene.
PJFSr I agree about Sansa' scenes I wish they had not cut all of them..the fact is we as the audience, of course we know there is dead outside of the wall Sansa is making her point of how risky to meet with Dany base on the history and the fact she knew. So there is different angle from different people.Don't forgot that Jon said in front of public then he insisted to go South without informing others. We KNOW he is a King but he should've have consulted the others. After finished reading the first book at this point I really don't want to talk about the show's writing anymore especially after the WF plot and Hannah...I love her but I don't know what has changed her thoughts about Sansa since the last season, her sounds was like she's ready to attack her in every minute lol.The girl was right too in her own she and Jon just don't know how to speak with each other.
It's not that they don't know how, it's more of trust and each of them have a form of PTSD aggravated by the causes of those issues. Jon's an experienced leader, but autocratic; Sansa it's her first time where she really has a chance to give input, so she's learning rules as she goes. Davos, Brienne already know these rules.
Since arya and john are the only ones with wolves now and since john and arya have similar looks it would be cool to have both of them with their wolves together in the same place
2:45 When the trailer came out, a good friend gave me a tip off about this scene. I was the same as Brian as soon as this scene started, especially since I knew Ms. Williams had filmed with wolves in Canada during filming. 😁😁😁
When I first watched I actually had a strong reaction when the sand snakes died - not because I liked them but because I knew they would be wrapping up character arcs and it hit me that the show would be ending soon(ish).
Hey guys love the channel, just an opinion: I was really hoping for this season we would get all wide shots of you guys to catch all the reactions. Love it anyway, keep up the awesome work!
Regarding Arya and her pet Nimeria ... in next season arya is going to get really hurt by someone and she will be trapped and that's when her dyer wolf nimeria and her pack is going to save her by sacrificing herself....
In thinking back on this, if Theon had access to a bow, he could have taken out Euron without hurting Yara. He was the best archer in Winterfell back then.
I notice that Sleeping Hannah has transformed her hair from the last episode. Is there going to be a new style each week? If not, this one looks amazing but it's got me thinking "I've seen that before". Is it for some sort of cos-play thing.
MattH haha sleepy hannah wears a lot of wigs for cosplay and day to day life, so it's possible you will see her in all kinds of styles. This is her "Sansa" wig- which jeremy actually wore in a different way to be tormund for Halloween!
This was a good reaction. Oh I strongly hope we get to see the whole reaction of Jon and Daenarys meeting, And the episode 4 battle between Daenarys vs Jamie lannister. 1 like equals 1 prayer 👏
Aweomse reaction, cant wait for the next one and of course for the main series of treats - episodes 4-7! Also, please tell the red haired lady that she is 11/10 gorgeous! ;)
Theon made the right choice, even if it was as Reek. He was outnumbered, the battle was lost, and Euron would have killed both of them. Better to live and fight another day.
I am pretty sure Brian did dig up those S7 spoilers that came out! That look 'when you know whats going to happen and you can't contain'.. I have seen that
ha Brian hates being spoiled! At this point we had started uploading GOT reactions and spoilers were all over youtube in our "recommends" - But we couldn't stay off youtube because we had to get reactions to you!
Finally had the time to watch the reaction , let me just say it's nice seeing all of you guys enjoying the episode together for the first time , for the min Brian was showing there I saw he has excited reactions I wonder why you don't include yourself more B, maybe in season 8 ? 🐲nyway love when Jon said I will accept Hannah turned to the Christmas version of madia O HoohhhoooOoo 😂😂 , also thanks for knowing right away what Arya meant by its not you ! saw many reactions where people thought it isn't even Nymeria LOL summer children am i right lol Arya was referring to both herself and Nymeria considering how much they have changed threwout, you got really good at this Hogwarts 💪😉❤ slay queen . need.a class in editing from you brian planning to react to season 8😅 god bless my soul ! hehe cheers sharing the vids now .
people seem to forget that Theon was suffering from ptsd. Ramsey really did a number on him, and the show doesn't tell us how long that was. It could have been a year or two that he tortured him. You don't just bounce back from that. Also, if he attacked his uncle, before he could reach him Euron would have slit her throat and then stabbed Theon. They both would have been dead. He had no choice. Euron was using her as bait. He is an arrogant asshole so he's not going to kill her unless he really has a captive audience, either that or for leverage.
"That's not you" is a reference to season one, where Ned tells Arya she'll be lady of a castle, and have a lords children etc. Arya says "no, that's not me". Nymeria isn't a lap dog, she should be free, like Arya. I get that....but fuck that, Arya needs a pack to suddenly become the best character. Fuck dragons, we want our direwolves.
It is awesome to see all of you reacting. Unless they wish to remain A Non O Mouse...please let us know who else is visiting during the reaction. Theon...poor conflicted Theon. I shall say no more. Great episode but also one of the creepiest with Jorah and Sam. This was my fourth viewing since earlier this year and I still can't watch. Oi. I agree with whomever said, they are at the Citadel and they have no milk of the poppy? Oi. Update, you package has left and now in Seattle for some reason, tracking to be there on Thursday. I don't know how close or far the PO Box is...but I'll be seriously bummed if it doesn't get there until Friday and it will be too late for your gift opening Christmas. I'll keep you up to date as the week progresses. Love to you all. Jules in Portland, OR
We made a rule after season 7 to now allow other people to react with us because it just got to distracting! Our PO box is just around the corner so we will check it multiple days this week so there shouldn't be any problems getting ir before the weekend. We can't wait!
To be honest Theon has annoyed me pretty much the whole show and that scene really makes you want to hate him, but he might have honestly thought that was his best choice under the circumstances. After all Yeron didn't kill Yara and Theon appears to have escaped also.
Counterpoint, Yara should have struggled to the point that Euron has to kill her. She's failed, she's been beaten in battle. Does she want to live so much that she wants her brother to die with her? Why wont she give her life to save her brother?
theon wouldn't have been able to save yara even if he tried. they would've both been killed, and he was having a ptsd flashback. you can't really get mad at him for fleeing
Agreed
Euron had a blade to Yara and Theon was 30-feet across the deck. The second Theon took a step in his direction, Euron would have gutted her. And even Theon in his prime was no match for Euron in single combat.
A lot of people talk shit about Theon but I personally thought he did a smart thing intentionally or not. No way he could have kill Euron and like 30 of his men right there to save his sister.
Also Reek PTSD kicked in or something, this kind of psychological trauma do not go away so easily
Right? I was of the opinion that Euron would have killed Yara (Asha) the moment Theon would have even just started to move towards him.
Exactly. The way they shot it makes it look like he fails and people just look at that without thinking about the situation. Yeah he feels like a failure, this isn't the Ironborn way, but he did the right thing anyway.
I get it, I do. However, when Theon sees his sister next. She won't have a tongue.
It is still better than being killed right there and now along with her brother who got baited. I also doubt they would do something bad to her since the show is getting progressively softer when it comes to "goodies".
Yeah agreed. There was nothing Theon could have done anyway, atleast he got to live and fight another day.
Why would anyone want Theon to attack, he did not have a chance. What's the point? He did everything right.
'Cauz he's a cockless coward
I so agree. The choice was attack now and die (he was completely outnumbered) or flee and get a chance for revenge. I was screaming at my TV for him to jump lol. There is no way he could have saved his sister. By the time he reaches Euron he could have already cut her throat.
Besides, it's obvious Theon was having some PTSD attack.
live to fight another day. the only right thing to do. war is a marathon, not a sprint.
Nimeria come with me girl , I am going home
Nah Arya , fricking dragons took all my CGI budget , see u later or maybe not 😂😜
Dont blame the dragons, blame the fucking polar bear, cuz D&D love bears 😂
Now you are not amongst the first million people to repeat this.
Still a lovely scene.
Tortuosit of Tapiola yeah u are right , I am not one of the millions , I am No one
Here I am, the only person glad that Nymeria and Ghost disappeared lmao. Seeing how dirty they played things out for Summer and Shaggydog...
Apparently, Direwolves are significantly more difficult and expensive to render compared to Dragons.
"That's not how regular TV works Hanna!" LMAO
MrShaun42088 it's not TV... it's HBO...;)
Theon didn't die. Yara didn't die. Probably the best outcome one could expect from that situation. All other alternatives were really poor.
i know how some ppl were so frustrated or even angry at theon because it seems he didn't even attempt to try and save yara, but in all honesty, what can he really do? charge at euron with the possibility of getting both of them killed? also, u can literally see theon turned into reek and his ptsd got triggered, in that sense, i guess theon did the right thing because him staying alive means he can rescue yara later, even if none of them (even theon himself) thought he did. yara felt betrayed but she never really understood theon's ptsd and that he got broken by ramsey, she thinks theon was weak and cowardly.
Well said, quite a lot of viewers seem to underestimate what PTSD can do to a person!
Harish RR No worse PTSD then getting stabbed by "friends" and dying.....didn't change how Jon acted when Rickon was in Yaras position
+Daniel Canngieter True, but people criticised Jon for running after Rickon as well, I guess there is no right decision in such a scenario. He was fine, until, he saw men being mutilated, and it hit him.
I'm so happy we have episode 3 and 4 on the same week. Can't wait to see your reactions!
This is a completely different dynamic. The guides on this channel are now in just as much awe and wonder as hogwarts. Im liking this. Season 8! Can't wait. Hype. Is. Real.
I say 14 months from now, just after Superbowl.
"Thats not how regular TV works, Hannah." :D SleepyHannah FTW
Oun, poor Hogwarts.. lol

Ross hi
I have come to the conclusion that "Hot pie" is behind all the destruction and chaos that we have seen this season. If he hadn't told Arya that Jon was King in the North, Arya wouldn't have returned to Winterfell. Cersei would have been long dead and Jon wouldn't have needed to go catch a Wight and Daenerys wouldn't have lost one of her dragons trying to save him and the Night King wouldn't have destroyed the Wall with the reanimated Viserion and everyone would have united to fight the Night King.
Just saying ..,
you may be on to something there.....
the butterfly effect 😂
Wish we seen more of Euron! Especially his entrance!
Arya and Ned in season one - 'you're going to be a pretty pink princess and have so many kids your head will spin' 'that's not me' *Arya goes back to training*
Arya and Nymeria in season seven - 'bruh let's go home, netflix n chill bruh, everybody is there it'll be great' ... *moment of realization* 'that's not you' *Nymeria goes back with her wolf pack*
slipknot95maggot - nice one, mate - they missed that...
Best thing he could do is flee. Attacking Euron would have got Yara's throat cut and then probably himself killed. This way he could flee and let Dany and Co. know what happened and mount an actual rescue plan.

Exactly whatever his reasons it was the smartest move. The reason's were his PTSD as Geoffrey has said.
Whatever you want to say about Theon, Alfie Allen is an amazing actor to capture the Reek persona so convincingly without being a Gollum like parody.
Sansa: You're abandoning your people, abandoning your home!!
Jon: I'm leaving you in charge. Winterfell is yours.
Sansa: k bye.
Ahh no.
more like... it's been 10 minutes, you still here?
Well, she let him be king of the North while she should have been queen of the North in the first place... Weird no one even mentioned that possibility?
At the very least she should have been queen, then officially declared him a Stark and then hand over the role willingly (if she wanted). He was a bastard and a former nightwatch, and even if all the lords liked him and were misogynistic enough to pass Sansa, it's not a democratic thing to elect a king!
I’m glad Hogwarts is still the focus of s7. The channel is called Hogwarts Reacts after all. Her reactions are the best! I still love the whole crew though!
we love you back!
yea and i mean there's a reason that people enjoy her reactions its because shes dramatic, expressive and funny.
+expressrobkill And adorable. Don't forget adorable.
yea exactly.
Jon is soo like Ned, i don't care he's a stark to me he was raised by woolf.
and who's disliking this ? craaazy
thank you guys .
You're so right.
"Okay, bye!! I'll pack you a lunch :D" LOL
I loved that Nymeria scene.
The whole point of "That's not you" isn't that it was some other dire wolf, its that going north and living in a castle with Arya is not who Nymeria is. The same as when Ned told Arya she would be a lady and have sons who would be lords and she replied...
"That's not me."
Also Arya parted ways with Nymeria in an episode 2 and reunites in an episode 2.
edit: LOL I hadn't listened to the whole video yet when I posted this, I didn't know they actually confirmed this theory...even better!
TY, and yes Hannah, thats not how regular TV works...lol
I hate people that think too much and say Theon made a smart decision there on his own. His facial expressions were clearly him being overwhelmed by the moment and defaulting back to his broken side. He didn't jump because he properly assessed the situation and calculated his move, he jumped because he paniced and turned into Reek. The show showed that in a very simple and straight forward manner.
"...that's not how regular TV works Hannah" LOL!
- My Guess of What Nymeria Would Be Saying In That Reunion Scene
Arya: "Nymeria, it's me; Arya!"
Nymeria: (Oh yeah, the one that threw a rock at me when I was a pup.)
Arya: "I'm heading north, girl."
Nymeria: (And...why? Did you find more direwolf pups to pelt with pebbles?)
Arya: "Back to Winterfell. I'm going home...come with me."
Nymeria: (Look Arya/Arry/Lanna/No One/A Girl/ Ashildr/Me/whatever the hell they're calling your cherubic-faced ass now: You.threw.a.ROCK.at.me! How would you have felt if Lord Stark had tossed a loose Winterfell brick at your head when you were 3 human years old? Pretty traumatized, I would think; probably would come to detest him. Well, now you know what it's like to walk in my paws)
Arya: "Come with me."
Nymeria: (Oooh, you're lucky my crew and I took down a few big bucks for lunch an hour ago; otherwise there would just be a plucky little half-skeleton in this forest in no time. Come on, my children; let's go. There's a massacred village west of here we can hit for dinner tonight.) [the wolves trot off]
Arya: "That's not you."
Nymeria, in the distance: (Oh for fuck's sake...PISS OFF!!!)
Game of Thrones trailers aren't very spoilery at all unless you do a frame for frame breakdown on Reddit
I hate any kind of spoiler because when you expect things they become a lot less emotional.
Choked out right next to my homie Ned statue!
Mirroring the way Ned choke slammed him against the wall back in season one...so many little nods/easter eggs...I love this show.
0saintclark0 Yessss!!! I loved that little callback to season one and Ned! Damn I miss him.
Theon has severe ptsd.
I love to see everyone in the reactions!
Everyone now knows why Ghost isn't at Winterfell. LOL
Seeing Brian all giddy about scenes is all that I hoped it would be.
wow thank you so much for keeping this up i look to this every day it comes out so thank you so much. also i would just like to say that review was cool and so Hogwarts ( at less with how we know her here.)
0saintclark0 People haye because it’s cool
I remind people hating on Season 3and 4 when they aired
1:56 You're a funny man, heh? A very funny man.
Anyone else dissapointed we didn't see her react to Euron's epic entrance?
I miss Ned.
irishinnish1 miss Ned so much
Thanks, I really enjoyed that!
Happy 14k and thankss guys I needed this cuteness today
7:25 "He who fights and runs away, lives to run away again some day." ;)
"That's not how regular TV works Hannah." The sad truth of the effect of after-binging withdrawal.
When u went wide shot I was like "oohhh yeah there is everyone. Oh my god Sleepy Hannah your hair! So beautiful!!"
Also Jeremy was right what could Theon have done?
Bye Bye Bland Snakes
I'm so happy. Haha I got my "Hooka Wooka" t-shirt today, and then I got this reaction. I cannot wait for the next one! :)
+cstarh123 ♥️
The Northerners don't like Tyrion because he's a Lannister and they don't trust them. Only Jon trust Tyrion, Sansa is still kind of iffy towards him and rightfully so. He could have been horrible but his family still tore her family apart. So that would be why the Northerners weren't excited about Tyrion's letter.
BRIA also the northerners think tyrion tried to kill bran...
"This fucking guy!"
"That's not how regular tv works Hannah!"
Lol, Hannah 1 is my favorite, plus she cooks, paints and makes Jon snow Jesus candles! 😍
EDTGO1 god bless!
No video of Euron's rockstar entrance from the falling kraken?
George R.R. Martin "You don't create a huge wolf pack unless you plan to use it."
D&D didn't get the memo apparently.
Also Arya is a warg so Nymeria would not only know her but would definitely go with her if she wanted her to.
@Gevorg1989 Who's not in the show? Nymeria? I'm talking about Arya's direwolf, not Nymeria the person.
But, c'est la vie.
cant believe i used to skip over these reaction vids for GOT... silly me.. you have some of the best reactions on youtube!
"That's not me"
-Theon Greyjoy
The Arya/Nymeria scene is one of my favorite from the whole season. In showbiz they say never act with kids or animals...what about both?? (And that wolf/dog is one heck of an actress to convey so much emotion...)
All the wolves are CGI, their emotions are computer generated
Nope, the direwolves are real wolves enlarged by CGI similar to the giants in the show.
No, they had Maisie film in Canada , at the wolf sanctuary, only Nymeria was enhanced.
One episode at a time = great energy, reactions, feels : ) Whatever show you guys get lost in next please, maybe don't binge SO much?
Ok, what in the Sam Hill happened to the epic buildup of E. Greyjoy's entrance???? ??? 😐😑
I know that this channel is "Hogwarts Reacts" but I love it more when all of you are on the screen.
We hear you! When we filmed season 7 we still didn't have an audience, so we didn't know you guys would want to see that! Now we do ;)
I like how the sand snakes died and everyone was like: "Whatever..."
Love it anyway, keep up the awesome work!
i'm sad you cut out Euron's badass entrance...
Regarding Arya and her pet Nimeria ... in next season arya is going to get really hurt by someone and she will be trapped and that's when her dyer wolf nimeria and her pack is going to save her by sacrificing herself....
Would you have rather had Theon fight and die and then Euron would still have Yara
I miss Shaggydog. He was my spirit animal.
WHY DID YOU SKIP EURON’S ENTRANCE?!?!?
Yara didn’t die she’s gonna be back for S8 the actress was pregnant that’s why she only had a few scenes on S7
Also, please tell the red haired lady that she is 11/10 gorgeous! ;)
haha thank you! That's sleepy Hannah in a wig!
🐲nyway love when Jon said I will accept Hannah turned to the Christmas version of madia O HoohhhoooOoo 😂😂 , also thanks for knowing right away what Arya meant by its not you ! saw many reactions where people thought it isn't even Nymeria LOL summer children am i right lol
Arya was referring to both herself and Nymeria considering how much they have changed threwout, you got really good at this Hogwarts 💪😉❤ slay queen . need.a class in editing from you brian planning to react to season 8😅 god bless my soul ! hehe cheers sharing the vids now .
Fourth? No bronze medal. SEVEN HELLS
Huell Babineaux "If you ain't first, you're last." TM Ricky Bobby Inc.
Reaction to Jon-Dany finally! Oh wanna be triumphed... Let the ship be sailed
Great reactions.
How do you skip Euron's badass entrance as he drops the stairs onto the ship? You're weird.
Should've gave full reaction of eurons attack.
you cut the best parts from the fight
You guys could show all the group now that its everyone first time
Is it Wednesday yet?
people seem to forget that Theon was suffering from ptsd.
Oh wait, you actually watched them explain that :P
And so begins Danny's obcession for Jon to bend the knee. You naughty naughty auntie.
I live 2 hours outside Chicago. I might just show up to watch season 8 with you guys
Okie Doke pls do :)
Hannah Williams 😁 I'll make a big shepards pie if you supply the wine
Okie Doke literally have three unopened bottles in the kitchen right now! LOL
Hannah Williams haha Isn't the Burlington bar in Chicago? We should do that for at least one episode
Okie Doke it is! I've never been though! Jeremy is supposed to be playing a show there some time!
IQ Test: If you're of the opinion that Theon should've attempted to save his sister in that moment, you're not very intelligent.
Sleepy Hannah looks like Clary Fray lol
no euron's entrance? :((
Wednesday Jon and Dany meeting then Friday Loot train woooooooooooooooo
"we met again 20 sec ago and you're already asking favours? Fuck off puny human, i've a fucking tribe now."
boom wolfslapped.
What were you guys saying in 2:56 with Sleepy Hannah cheering in the background? You should see me rewinding over and over again!
"ed sheeran" "ya!"
hahahhahahahahaha!! Why would you be happy Ed Sheeran was going to show up?? Sleepy Hannah cracks me up!!
Counterpoint, Yara should have struggled to the point that Euron has to kill her. She's failed, she's been beaten in battle. Does she want to live so much that she wants her brother to die with her? Why wont she give her life to save her brother?
If Theon attacks, Euron cuts her throat. So I'd say if she wants Theon to attack, then she doesn't want to live.
Theon has PTSD, obviously.
