Thank you for the review, it was really useful. I was seriously considering buying one of these, rather than the bulkier cordless one with the trigger on the top, but I didn't realise it didn't take a normal length glue stick. Couple that to how much they waste because of the dribbling and this one is not for me.
taking smaller glue sticks isn't a problem, they cut earlier with scissors, and it doesn't drip as much as most glue guns. Issue is that the smaller glue stick runs out pretty fast, so it needs replacing often
Great review never seen this glue gun
I really like this product from what I've seen on RUclips, but it's not something available in the US for some reason. Apparently, Bosch doesn't ship to the US anymore since quite a number of years ago. I see other brands that call themselves "hot glue pens", but since I've never had any of them either, I cant tell which other option is worth trying.
hopefully they make it available soon, or at least a competitive one becomes available!
How does the glue come out? Do just press the tip or do you have to press or push the red door?
you have to push the door thingy in the middle of the pen. it doesn't ooze out as easily as my old glue pen does [which is a good thing for me]

it won't, you can cut them down though to approx inch long to fit them in so you dont need to buy special smaller glue sticks

No need to worry about LH looking strange with me , it’s just normal! Question: how many of those little bits of glue stick did you have to change. I think that is what would annoy me the most although going cordless would make me use my glue gun much more I think.
I changed it once so used 2 lots. If you were doing a lot of gluing it would be annoying for sure but I only really use for rolled flowers and bows, so only usually need a blob here and there :)

it won't, I did cut down a regular sized one to try it and it worked fine, just short of an inch in length is the longest to fit
