    I can see that your 1998 DGC is well maintained Mr. Hector. Mine is a 1997 DGC, my first car (and still is) with 280K on it. The compressor, filter drier and expansion valve were recently changed and system charged by a mechanic. I wish you more kilometers on this car.

    After you hooked up the can to line gauge, then hooked the low pressure quick connect, you then could have loosened the hose on the can to hear a slight burst of coolant, then re-tighten line onto can. That purged the hose of air/moisture before opening valve to let coolant flow into low pressure side.

    Greetings. I've a 2005 dodge caravan 24L with the awkward to access low side port. Is there a common location for the low pressure cutout switch? I lost pressure in system and need to re add r134a. Please advise

    hello! would you be able to tell me why this happens in cars? i’m looking to buy my first car and it says the a/c has to be recharged... is this a car i should still be looking into? is recharging the ac a normal thing? thanks !

    I been watching your vids these past weeks. Keep em coming! May I add some positive feedback?
    Invest in a set of manifold gauges. Monitoring both hot and cold side is key to having a good ac performance. Harbor freight have an ok set but I've seen better elsewhere........don't forget to get a vacuum pump too. If you ever have car questions feel free to email me 👍

      Hi, in this particular case, does vacuuming the system necessary? I noticed that the AC system has still some 30 psi left on it and my thought is vacuuming is needed if the system has little to zero pressure wherein moist and air would have probably entered the system. Your advice on this will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

    Wow you have good A/C my van lost it at 65,000 miles blew the compressor out and I never did fix it. I got looking at your engine there, you have to watch out for deep water/snow these vans throw serpentine belts easily they have a Pulley update repair kit available I would get one I cant drive mine in winter anymore or it tosses the belt. The kit re-aligns the pulleys and tensions the belt more.

      Thank you for the information. Do you have the part number?

    • @Drifter5.7
      @Drifter5.7 6 лет назад +1

      ruclips.net/video/Wj6e2EUHRnQ/видео.html not sure what the exact part number is but with Rose in the van you are not going to want to put a belt back on at the side of the road.

    • @NoneMechanic101
      @NoneMechanic101  6 лет назад

      I got the gauge at Amazon. The refrigerant i got it from Walmart because it was only 4.00 dollars at the time

    • @vhf2582
      @vhf2582 6 лет назад +1

      Sounds like you got a good deal on the refrigerant. If you don’t mind me asking how much was the gauge?

    • @NoneMechanic101
      @NoneMechanic101  6 лет назад

      I believe I got the gauge for about 13.99 or 14.99. I have prime so I got free shipping
