2.5km approx. Rana Kumbha constructed the Kumbhalgarh Fort in 1458AD. The fort was built on the ruins of Jain king Samprati, the grandson of Ashoka.

Alauddin khalji was not a mughal emperor he was Afghani. And kumbhalgarah fort is not attacked by alauddin khalji as alauddin died in 1316 and Maharana kumbha was born in 1433 and give treasure to built kumbhalgarh fort in early 15th century
