Her high note always you listen it's powerful and magical , mesmerizing 💗
Rora is definitely one of those singers that you know in the future, she is going to be singing one of those OST songs to a KDrama or Movie that makes you want to cry. This song did it for me.
Rora is a powerful singer. We have seen Rami, Ahyeon and Pharita hitting those High belt notes but Rora is definitely more than capable of doing the same.
Rora's voice is Emotional & Soulful She is best in Low Powerful or Low Soft range Maybe She can't do High note High note is best for Ahyeon, Pharita, Rami

I feel that YG hasn't utilized her full skills yet on the songs they released so far. Nonetheless, she always slays every part she's given. Can't wait for more Rora's parts in their future songs. BM girls are all talented but Rora hits different. She became my bias after hearing their introduction, and she kept that spot on her last evaluation performances. She's a great dancer too! She's not as popular as some of the BM girls, but mannnn she deserves the praises and the spotlight. I'll keep rooting for you Rora! Time will come that more people will notice your insane skills. No one's going to argue with that but Rora does possess something very special. "You know what it is" She's the one who evokes most emotions. She's going to sing some of the beautiful OST songs for K-dramas in the future.
Rora is a Siren. Her voice effects men different. From her soft notes through falcettos, her power notes , and even when she just talks = she has a calming effect. I just feel at peace hearing her. It's that Jisoo thing all over again.

As a non kpop fan I went into Batter up blind without watching any pre debut stuff, and Asa's rap flow and Rora's Bridge hit me the hardest. She has something in her voice that instantly makes you forget everything and appreciate it. Her solos are gonna have medicinal effects really. She can make you forget all your pain with that voice even if she's singing a sad song. And I just love how quirky and intelligent she is irl. She's very different from the usual girly kpop idols. She's more confident and poised irl than on stage unlike her co-idols. I would've hated YG for life if they had dropped her and Asa. It would be dumbest move by any entertainment company. I'm still irked they don't use her properly. They quickly run to Ahyeon and Rami for high notes and pharita for belting 🙄 not that I don't enjoy the other girls, not a fan of the bias culture. But if Rora belts higher in upcoming songs, She's gonna send me flying to heaven... 🪽

She was in 5 K-dramas when she was 10 and was a regular on Man vs Child cooking show at 8-9. She has chef level cooking and baking skills. In the Introduction to Haram (Rami) they show her making a professional level birthday cake for Rami's birthday. She plays piano and is an award winning concert pianist as well as playing flute, gayageum, and violin. She was also in USSO girls with one of the New Jeans girls and was the only one of the 7 who YG personally invited to tryout for the group. Those are among the many reasons she is the spokesperson and unoficcial leader of the group since her experience makes her very responsible, mature, and very comfortable talking to and with adults and in front of the camera and crowds. She is an absolute genius on every level imagined. Such an awesome kid. Also, an athlete. There is nothing Rora cannot do. I would love to hear her do a cover of Evanescense "Bring Me to Life" as the original sounds like she is already singing it.
And if memory serves me Alex, she just turned 14 not long before this was recorded. She'll be 16 in August. Following this performance one of the mentors commented to Rora, "I felt like you just went through a break up". Then YG said, "I'm still against you have a boyfriend". Her vocal instructor was impressed by her ability to convey the emotion as accurately as she does. Although she has been given smaller parts to sing she kills it each time and can't wait for YG to let her loose in one of their songs.
