The A350 is brand new while the 747 is 30 Years Old, I may have to go with the 747 because it is the “Queen of the Skies” while the A350 is the “High Tech Of The Skies. 😀 And 5:35, Absolutely Correct! Please Passengers, do not mess up the IFE, Tray Tables, Windows Etc. The Air India 787 has tons of wear, scratches, dirt and tear. Air India worked so hard on the new aircraft. 😊

Have just discovered your channel and can I say that I enjoy it very much. I also watch a lot of trip reports on Air India as I came to Australia via Air India on a Boeing 707. Sadly, the interiors are not looked after very well be it by passengers and or lack of maintenance from the airline. Such a disgrace the state of the interiors are in. Lets hope this new branding and pride will keep these magnificent aircraft looking their very best. Keep up your great posts I look forward to them very much.

Its a really beautiful aircraft but I want to see it with GE-9X series of engines offered for Etihad and Singapore Airlines. Really a proud moment for the Indian Aviation Industry.

A350 in Air India Livery looks beautiful. I wish if Vistara kept operating as as stanalone airline. Would have loved to see competition in widebody on International routes between two Indian Carriers.
From what I've heard, the purple on the livery is a tribute to Vistara as TATA plans to merge the two airlines later on in the year. I think it intends to showcase the place Vistara holds within the Air India family.
Loved that you got the full AI Family in one shot. The new livery looks better than what I imagined when unveiled and when seen on a bigger plane - it barely visible on the B737 -8. Maybe we shall get used to it.
Sadly very true!! Civic sense is still abysmal among us Indians. I don't feel like we actually deserve all these developments in aviation and national infrastructure until we can learn to respect and maintain it.

GE9X engine is for the 777X. This is an A350. Only Rolls Royce engines available for it.
I fell in love with the 777 back in the 90's as sure as i fell in love with the A350 in 2024 (beautiful Air Mauritius)
