Wishing our beloved 747 a wonderful post-retirement life. Still have memories of having flown on them on the Delhi - Hyderabad route when I was just about 12 years old back in 2018.

when I was a child, We used to go from Bahrain to Bombay by these giants ( they used to stop from London) and even then I was amazed by tthe size of them. Sorry to see them go despite all the righ reasons

Once i flew on Air india 747 it was like a dream come true im like still soo happy that once in my life time i flew on this queen i cannot be more happy but im sad that air india is removing 747 fully from their fleet sad :( rip the queen of the skies 😢

Still remember my father used to take me to Jari Mari/ Bail Bazar since 1995 to spot the flights. Then Mumbai was AI's main hub.
Spotted back to back AI's 747s landing and take off for several times along with other 747s. Glory Glory AI.

Let's just say that spotting at Mumbai Airport comes with its challenges and I faced one of them in that moment. I wish I could have captured it. But I can't do anything about it now sadly.
Vaibhav l personally feel that you must have been overwhelmed by emotions and so could not face her waving good bye to Mumbai on her last journey .
@@rajendrapatankar2693 believe me, irrespective of the emotions I was having, I wouldn’t have missed the wing-wave if I had the prior information about it and if it wasn't for the issue at the location. Hope the pilots perform it again when they ferry the remaining 747s. Hope to capture it at least once.🙏

I remember when I was 10 year old , we used to sit on airport boundary wall at jarimari and had seen AI 747 , on entering runway , take a left turn and come near the wall , as if covering maximum area, allowed for its take off run . My heart used to run towards this flying queen , wanting it to lift me in her arms . My dream of flying with her came true with Mum - Hyd return flight on Velha Goa . I felt blessed .

Vaibhav , wish you could do the favour of notifying aviation lovers in advance, as to when next 747 is due to depart , so that they may see the queen and store the memory in their heart ,for life time .
Looks like you missed the post where I asked my subscribers the information of her departure. Why would I ask if I already knew the answer.😅 Believe me, I'm as clueless about her takeoff date/time as the majority of people here. Keep an eye out though. Twitter seems like a reliable source of info at the moment.

If the rumors are true that only 2 of the 4 B747s will fly out, the other B747 will likely be VT-ESO, which is the most intact. But VT-ESO is a leased aircraft.
So, this video could truly be an end of the AI B747 era since "Agra" was actually owned by AI and not leased. It was only fitting that the jet flew to its birthplace while flying over the entire span of the country it served for the past 25 years, one final time.
I still can't believe VT-EVA isn't in BOM anymore 😢

But at the time of runway acceleration i can see two AI 747 in the background, which ones are those if this was the last?
They're VT-EVB and VT-ESP. This was the last flight of VT-EVA (Now N940AS).

Sadly all 4 are going to get scrapped😢 2 at roswell and 2 and at BOM. I didn't even got hear her P&Ws roar. Those queens were easily flown for more 5-6 years. Idk why there was need to sell them instead of using for long hauls ? Farewell queen, you will be missed forever. Still FR24 map shows 4 AI747s instead of 3😢 Mumbai is now incomplete

To be honest, on this day, I was happy to see more Indigos. It meant I could spend more time with the Queen. I was hoping for dozens of Indigo A320s to land while the Queen was holding short of the runway. Sadly, there wasnt much traffic on arrivals and she didn't hold for too long.
Why can't theny continue to use this flight . Such a shame on Indian airlines. Atleast they should have upgraded the flight for 1 instead of scrapping her to abondon . RIP the queen of skies
