I wear the cheapest brand of point shoes available in Brazil and magically they fit me really well. Kinda like a less expensive So danca, that costs like 40%more. It makes easier for me financially to replace then faster when they die.

@@marianarocha6159 hahaha muito - me forçaram a usar a partner estudante quando comecei as aulas de ponta e me lesionei na primeira aula 🫠 ouvi falar q eles iam parar de produzir pontas um tempo atrás. Triste pq a capezio americana parece ter umas opções bem legais

@@kauaneramos3321 não recomendo a partner pq vc acaba gastando mais com o médico depois kkk na minha opinião ela parece uma ponta feita por quem nunca viu uma ponta - tem uma sola de espuma tipo de tênis 🫣mas em geral vale muito fazer o fitting (e tb a qualidade da partner é mto duvidosa pq a capezio brasil é uma fraude!! Zero conexões à capezio dos eua)
MAS a partner pode ser boa para algumas pessoas - é aí q vem a importância do fitting

They do look more solid and stable in the box than the other cheap knock offs. I wonder if after elastic and with toe pads, if they would be a decent practice shoe since considering the hardness, they don't look like they will die as quickly and for a dancer on a budget....
But you do have to remember they can be rlly dangerous bc they are nowhere near as good quality shoes that are sadly more expensive

I mist share this but as the brand I use is Grishko and it's currently being sold on sale in my country as they have no stock in most sizes/models but I found my size and model (2007) for fricking 35 EUROS A PAIR. Ngl I bought 6 pairs.

where i get my shoes in the uk they are (without additional stuff such as toe pads and stuff) 55 pound and thats a professional dance store so chances are perhaps they are proper ones

mine were £60 from bloch without the toe pads or ribbons or anything

Just do it! Find a good teacher who understands (older) learners. If you’re doing this a as view to being professional take professional advice. Just make that start. I took adult ballet classes for 9 years just for fun, exercise and enjoying the process of progression. I wasn’t great, having limited flexibility but I did get onto pointe and did some exams. Doing it will certainly help you understand how strong dancers really are. Good luck!

If you are a real dancer, please buy correct pointe shoes from a dance store, not from SHEIN, if you are not a dancer, please don’t buy them either, you are more than welcomed by the dance community to start dance, or take photos in flat shoes, but please don’t hurt yourself with SHEIN shoes

Elastics? We never used them in the old days. We managed. Toe pads are a recent development too.
Just commented this. Never needed elastic, my shoes fitted well and felt secure. No toe pads, just lambs wool wrapped around toes!
Exactly we used animal wool and no toe pads and definately no elastics lol!
