    Could you please do a video on the packing into a suitcase? I have had issues when traveling with my brompton softcase and it is outside the dimensions of some airlines

    Hi nice video!
    Can ask your advice
    If we have existing brompton 2 speed - we just change the mainframe to titanium will it be ok? Wanted to get that nickle look.
    Appreciate your kind advice 😊

      Thanks for spending at the video. If you are asking about the after market titanium frame that clones out from the Brompton steel frame. Then technically it’s a yes, you could just swap out the frame.

      @@Petrellionwheels thank u for the reply. I’m thinking of replacing the mainframe to OEM titanium but keep the original steel fork and tri. Any idea if this works or will have some negative or flex? Thank u Petrelli!

    • @Petrellionwheels
      @Petrellionwheels  Год назад

      you can surely replace just the main frame with the after-market titanium while reusing the existing original steel fork and tear triangle. Their dimension would fit all of it. Go for it mate, let us know how it turns out to you. @@direxxion

    Hint: Those "bolts" are "nuts."

    With the Brompton comes some security parts/discs for the fork and back. As an owner of the former top, 2019 Superlight (Titanium fork and back), I have changed also the front axle and those, to titanium. As all the nuts. As a Dane I use mudguards and those have "Heavy Metal" brackets and holders, to be changed to lighter versions from carbon and aluminum. As a bike a Brompton is lousy with the small wheels, but being as light as possible of course helps. Mine for now is 9,35 kilo and still with some easy measures to become even lighter. I expect to come below 9 kilo?
