This is one of the four Lottery Winners songs I've heard at the University of Bolton Stadium at Bolton Wanderers matches this season, the other three I remember are Start Again, Times are Changing and Favourite Flavour.

Saw Lottery Winners for the first time last night at KK's Steel Mill in Wolverhampton. Absolutely fantastic music & energy. Can't wait to see them again. Looking forward to both Stoke & Warrington dates.

Since about September 2023 I've been in a shit place mentally, just progressively getting worse and worse as each day passed. A couple of weeks ago I decided to take a week off from work and enjoy the SXSW festival in Austin and try to get myself in a better place mentally. The first day I go out to see some shows I end up going to Side Bar first. I got there early, there was a band I wanted to see playing a bit later in the afternoon. So I got to see the first bands to go on and first up was The Lottery Winners. I had no idea who they were. Thom (the singer) proceeds to tell his stories all throughout the set and the band encourages us all to sing along. I'm having a good time. They get to the part of the set where they're doing Much Better and I'm struggling a bit because I'm trying to feel better but it's first vacation day and I'm not actually feeling much better yet. But this is my point... I don't know how this happened but somehow I feel like I was meant to see this band live and for them to pick up my spirits. By the end of the week, I had seen the Lottery Winners do three different sets and I sang and danced during them all. And damn it if by the end of the week I didn't feel a helluva lot better. So thanks to this band for the inspiration, you all are badass!

Saw them supporting Rick Astley at the AO Arena Manchester on the 2nd March 2024. Im too old to have heard of them before. They were brilliant and I will be following them from now on!
