We're some of those LTA fans that just love everything and anything they put out, GREAT tune.

Far Q has great lyrics and is a fairly heavy song and this is borderline pop trash, how can you go from one extreme to the other?!

It's called growing up. It's also called playing what you want to play. If fans don't like it, that's not the band's problem. People will like them for what they are, and there are enough fans who don't want everything to be like Bretton. I liked Bretton, I really liked World Record and Changing Tune, and so far I'm liking their new songs too.
If you don't like their new songs, go and listen to stuff you do like and don't waste your time commenting on youtube videos complaining that a band isn't always playing your favourite music.
mattx1988 sure sure I can go with you on that and I understand what you're saying but 'growing up'? I don't think so, if they want to make this music then sure fine they can go ahead and do it but it HAS become far more generic and mainstream for the purpose of making more money and targeting audiences who adore bands such as 5sos rather than people who enjoy talented well-put together meaningful songs with more substance.
mattx1988 and I just want to add I have enjoyed the band for a long time and have seen them live 3 times so I'm not just a random person coming along to be insulting. As a fan of the band I just felt let down by their new productions and yes I know theyre entitled to do what they want as it's their music but surely they'd value the opinions of their fans good or bad? And I know other people love their new stuff but I also know I'm not the only person who doesn't like it and is disappointed

I really like this, even if it sounds a bit 'poppier' than their previous material. Goes to show you don't have to burst people's ear drums and throw yourself against the walls all the time to qualify as a rock band. It's a very well written song and should be treated as such. :)
I like it how he was originally singing about his dog Rosie and everyone is like "omg my name is Emily"

Sure, their new stuff is great, but I became a fan around the far q time, and I'm always going to love them for that. They've changed so much in such a short period of time but I guess bands have to progress. Still pumped for the new album though!
