quick dry taco. I use it multiple times to make sure everything stays in place when doing nail art. Or, to be extra safe, you can do layers several hours apart.
you have to wait a long time between layers depending on the polish you use. when i do my nails, it can take me upwards of 6 hours to actually finish a full nail art on my nails, and even then you should be super careful when youre done because it still takes about 24 hours for the polishes to solidify 100%, so it could feel dry to the touch, but you could still leave an imprint if you poked it with something before 24 hours. also, always use a top coat, it dries the best and fastest, so it will give some small protection from smudging before its dry completely.
