They should bring this track back in some way or another, I think this track in some ways represents what a lot of d2 music is or just Destiny music in general. Also it would have likely played at a completely unmemorable boss fight like most awesome launch d1 tracks did.
@@sovl2178 eh Destiny music in general? The way they make the Destiny ost has not really changed that much though it has at least a little bit as the D2 version of Untold Legends does not have as much Spheres in it.
@@destiny_music_archive I forget where I heard exactly but if you look around you'll see some folks mention it as it kinda was meant for d1 (its even in the soundtrack you can buy) but never shows up in game until d2
This is false. Bungie has never said this, the community just speculated it. There was never a place this was "meant for" as most of D1's music wasn't written for specific missions in the final game, but rather they put existing music where they thought it fit. In the case of Untold Legends, they kept trying to find a place for it and couldn't, so they put it on the soundtrack because they particularly loved it. Hope that clears that up.
If this doesn't play in the last phase against the Witness, I'm gonna be pissed...
100% agreed
They actually used this theme in the ost!
I got news for you!
Sir...
@@basedesidisi1108 tell to me straight my friend...
Everything i love about Destiny music in one track. Hope they use this again at some point !
hopefully when we kill the witness and need to maybe escape the monolith
I'm bringing the ship around! RUN!
I really like both versions of this track.

Halo.
Wasn’t this track originally meant for d1 atheon?
You're the second person I've seen say that. Not sure where that info comes from so I can't confirm or deny.
