Here are some options. Neither of them are perfect, but at least they offer their keyboard as ISO-DE: 1. GMMK Pro (300€) 2. Keychron Q1 Pro / Max, V1 Max (94€ - 204€) 3. Corsair K65 Plus (130€) (yes, this is a 75%) 4. ASUS ROG Azoth (230€)
@@Serafiniert thanks for the help buddy.. i bought Endorfy Thock 75% wireless and its a match made in heaven, ISO DE, Knob, hot swap, aluminium top and sounds amazing. The only downside is the software but thats okay as long as i am enjoying typing.
@@grumpyguru9487 yeah, no idea why they all want to use their own, unfinished, software. They’re all lackluster (except iCue from Corsair. That can everything I need, but is bloated nonetheless). Maybe I’ll give the Thock 75 a spin, until the Zoom75 is back in stock. Zoom75 has everything, except for the wrong LED orientation. It’s south-facing, but I want north-facing.
Finally! Took way to look long to find this simple information. How did you know, that NUBS stands for "|"? Is there a guide to the software somewhere?
Exactly what I was looking for since last year, when I purchased the new IQUNIX ANSI keyboard. I’m not familiar with the key mapping software and how to use it. Can I program the keyboard with VIA(?) on my MacBook so that the keyboard would also work with my Office WIN PC? I don’t have permission to install external software.
Yes! In QMK and VIA, you can create different layers. Just make one layer for win and one for macOS. Copy all the keys from the base layer and switch out the specific keys for win or macOS and then select a key to switch the layers. If you use your keyboard just press the key to switch the layers and switch to the layer according to the OS. I hope that helps. Otherwise, I can do a video about it, if you so desire. :) And yes you can use VIA with macOS. Can be tricky sometimes, but it works!
Could you make a tutorial on how to put on ISO DE Keycaps on an ANSI Layout and how to configurate the software? The german market for custom keyboards is just horrible...I don't know how to configurate the special letters ä, ö, ü and ß.
You do not need to configure them, just put the keycaps ä, ö, ü, ß on the keyboard, set your language in Windows to DEU and that's it. It should work. Let me know if it doesn't!
Well, you have to look out for the enter key and the greater than less than key. Some keycap sets offer these special keys. Just take a look at your ISO keyboard and check if all the keys you have on your board are also in the keycap set and if so, you can use them!
One of the two (VIA or QMK) should work with every custom keyboard, I don't know if you can use it with a keyboard from the store, like a razer or Logitech keyboard.
I searched the whole internet finding a good ISO-DE with Knob keyboard but jezz i could now make any of the ANSI one.. thanks for the tips!

You don't have to do all that to get a back slash, just press alt+the ansi \ and shift+alt you get the |

Just take a look at minute 2:19 I have changed nothing to the positions where the special letters would be. :)
Can I use the ansi keycap on iso keyboard? I cant find any botanical keycaps shine through that has a iso keycap
most likely not :/ except like I mentioned in the video
Can i use ANSI Keycaps on ISO Keyboard? It would be the same thing? if its not is there some way to make it possible?

does the software works for every keyboard or just on the ones that support it ?
