- Port De Bras is a natural progression from Core de Ballet which was a gentle introduction to balletic exercises intended to stretch and tone. This instalment introduces a more complex series of exercises aimed at toning the whole body. Port De Bras follows on from this, introducing movement and centre practise to provide a fuller workout.
I really enjoyed this routine! It made me feel longer and stronger and more graceful. I did modify the fifth position feet to a slightly rotated third position since I don't have a lot of turnout, but I think it worked fine. I would love it if Scottish Ballet made more exercise videos like this. :)
